I have filled ews category in CAT and uploaded income certificate in place of ews certificate as ews was not ready till application time and I was advised by CAT helpdesk to do the same, today my ews application is rejected so i cant show ews certificate will iims reject me or consider me in general

Dear Ayush, you will be considered General Category. Any Candidate who claims reservation buy doesn't validate his/her claim, will not be considered under the Category he/she has chosen but will be considered under General Category. Your application will not be rejected. Neverthless, we suggest you to reach out to the helpdesk once again to see if you can change your Catrgory.

but as we know while preparing shortlists in stage 1, iims will consider me in ews that time and if I get shortlisted in ews category( ews cutoffs will be less than general) during verification which is stage 2, if I dont produce certificate will they consider me in general? i am in big shock and feeling depressed? what do I do? someone said to get more marks in merit to get into general..

My ews certificate was uploaded in keam. But it was rejected. What should I do?
