Admission in Panjab University, Chandigarh for tge course of BA/BCOM LLB is done on the basis of both your result in 12th boards and entrance exam. 50% weightage is given to both the scores.
So as your boards percentage as well as your entrance exam's score both matter equally. As most of you have already got your both results a good score in it will put you at a great advantage.
There are 120 seats (both BA and BCOM) in the Chandigarh campus, 60 each in regional centres. So for the Chandigarh campus if your rank in the BA LLB merit list after combination of both scores is uner 150-180 you'll have a fair chance in the first counselling itself.
Though the cut off chances each year according to the difficulty level of the paper and the level of Competition, only a fair estimate can be made regarding the marks.
So as your boards result is 95.2% marks you already have an advantage. Now if you score 45 in the test you do seem to have fair chances for Chandigarh Campus as your total aggregate will be around 74. But this is as per the previous year trends. It might be different for this year. So a better estimate can be made when combined merit list is out.

Hey chances in BCOM are even more for getting admission in the first counselling itself. As You'll get weightage for studying commerce subjects in 12th too which will improve your rank in the BCOM Meri list.

You have calculated my final aggregate as 74 but, if we consider 50% each for both +2 and Entrace exam (95.2% + 45), it is coming out to be 70.1. Yes, I miscalculated. Even with 70.1, chances for BCOM LLB in the first counselling are there.
For BA LLB there are chances, but a more accurate estimate can be made after the combined merit list is out.

Thw technique will be 47.6+ 22.5 which is 70.1.
Weighate for each commerce subject will be added in the BCOM list. I think it is around 4 marks per subject accounts, eco and BST. JUST confirm the amount of weightage part from the official prospectus once.

And it includes maths too if you had opted for maths in 12th.
Thanks a lot Mam. I did not opt for Maths. I checked everywhere and could not find the weightge of the Commerce Subjects in the Prospectus.
I think it's 4 only as per what it was in the previous years. The prospectus says that weightage for commerce subjects will be given as per rules changing time to time. So i guess it'll beon the UG lw website once the combined results are out.

Hello mam ,I want to take admission in bcom+llb in pu and i have scored 96.5 in class 12 and 24 in entrance test exam. In addition to that i have commerce subjects in class 12 and with maths are there any chances of getting the admission .please help me out with this
