I interested in medical science . I have got 80% in intermediate u p board . How much marks I need to admission for MBBS (Obc)
You've got decent score in boards but if you need medical seat you need to crack NEET which is held on 1st Sunday of may every year. You'll get 3hrs for 180 questions (45 of physics 45 chemistry and 90 biology).each correct answer of MCQ will give you +4 and each wrong will score you - 1 total of 720 marks is what paper comprises of. For a Gen and OBC candidate you need atleast 550+ or 600 marks to get a govt medical college. Prepare for it by heart and good luck. Few other exams which you can look upto are AIIMS JIPMER and state PMTs.
Your score is good enough. But this score not work to get admission in Mbbs directly. You have to undergone an entrance exam before this that is Neet. Neet exam is conducting by NTA. The application form is not available now. You can apply next time. To get admission you have to qualify the cut of your category and cut off of all the colleges depends on the seats. So prepare yourself. Give your best. But you can easily get admission after a Score of 550 or above marks if you fill all eligibility.
To pursue MBBS, you need to qualify in one of these entrance tests-
1. NEET UG for Government/Private/Deemed Medical College
2. AIIMS UG for pursuing MBBS at AIIMS
3. JIPMER UG for pursuing MBBS in JIPMER campus.
