No, you should not expect any confirmation or even there is no way that you will get any good government college by just clearing the cut off.
Just crossing the cutoff allows you to appear for JEE advanced, so hoping for good colleges by just crossing the cutoff is not a wise man thing. Work hard and try to score as much as you can and give your best so that you can fetch a seat at any well reputed college.
