Aadhar card is valid as an identity proof in almost every platform in India.
People are using their e-aadhar card for proofs. But sadly you can not use a soft copy. You will have to take a coloured print out of the card and keep it safe (preferably laminated).
The exam centers do not allow soft copies of any document.
To be on safe side, you can take some other ID proof as well
