jee advanced 2021 aggregate cut-off is around 35%. Is it not too high? As previous year it was around 17.5%.

I want to inform you that JEE Advance cutoff percentile is released by NTA, through a very analytical process which involves various aspects like number of attempts provided in a year , difficulty of the paper, the results of the particular examination and many more.
it doesn't has any connection between previous years cutoffs, each and every step they take is troubleshooted various times.
so, we can't make a statement about the cutoff , it's not too high not too low it is just correct.
