Lateral entry into a Diploma in Automation/Automobile/Mechanical is generally meant for candidates who have completed ITI or a relevant diploma , not directly after Class 12 , Even if you passed 12th with PCM in 2007 , most institutes will allow direct first-year diploma admission, not lateral entry .
