hello,
your son is eligible for JOSAA counselling, but likely not eligible since he has studied in india for most of his education.
Hello
An OCI cardholder can apply for :
1. JoSAA Counselling (for NITs, IIITs, GFTIs) under the Open Category (no reservations).
2. IITs only if they clear JEE Advanced as a foreign national (not under the general category).
3. DASA (for NITs, IIITs and CFTIs) only if they have studied outside India for at least 2 years in the last 8 years including 11th & 12th.
Since your son has studied in India since 4th grade , he may not be eligible for DASA but can apply through JoSAA for NITs/IIITs .
