Preparation
- Segregate the topics from syllabus of NEET 2019 into easy difficult and to be learnt.
- Learn the easy one along with one difficult topic and allocate time to learn the new topics.
- Clear your concepts
- Learn formulas
- Refer best books: -Concept of competition Physics for CBSE PMT by Aggarwal's. -NCERT PHYSICS Part 1&2. -Concept of Physics by H C Verma . -NCERT PHYSICS:CBSE PMT set of 3rd volume by Anil Aggarwal. -Practise previous question paper.
- Make notes
- Take online mock tastes.
- Improve your weak areas.
Topic wise preparations
- Motion of system of particles and rigid body:Question for finding torque and momentof inertia for regular bodies using parallel and perpendicular axes theorem is considered an important section in NEET Physics , practice more for these types of questions. Also practice numericals based on conservation of angular momentum and rolling motion.Circular motion questions can be easily solved by candidate so do practice for those.
- Kinematics:KKinematics is the most important unit of NEET Physics. Most of the students find this chapter easy and interesting. Problems based on finding range, maximum height, time of flight, velocity at any point on the trajectory are considered important in NEET Physics. Make notes of all important formula, theorems and derivations. This will help you in your last minute preparation. Clear all your concepts of displacement ,acceleration , average velocity and relative velocity.
- Heat and thermodynamics:Clear all your basics related to this chapter of NEET PHYSICS. Clear all your concepts of zeroth law of thermodynamics joules law and first law of thermodynamics. Practice some model papers on Carnot engine efficiency and coefficient of performance. Kinetic theory of gases is the easy and simple topics and questions from this topic which can be solved easily.
- Modern physics:Most important and scoring topic of NEET PHYSICS. Topics such as radioactive decay and substances ,nuclea fission and fusion ,dual nature of matter ,X-ray and Bohr model. To clear all the basic concepts ,you should refer NCERT books. For theory refer "Concepts of Physics" by HC Verma and for numericals refer "3000 solved problems in Physics by Schism.
Let your dreams be bigger than your faces and your actions louder than your words.
ALL THE BEST!!!
Yes you are right the questions asked of physics in NEET entrance exam are not easy to attempt but they are not that difficult also. You get 45 questions of a particular subject with the score of 360. If you manage to get 50% i.e. 150 - 180 marks in physics by covering all the important topics and compensate tge score in chemistry and biology. You can easily get selected in the entrance exam. Try to focus more on important topics. Hope you get your interest in physics now.
Thank you!!
Dear Uma,
Sometimes it may feel very difficult to solve physics queries. In NEET , most of the questions are not asked directly based on the formulae but are based on concepts. You need to get your concepts clear. Go through NCERT as much as possible for all subjects. For physics, do read H.C Verma, its a very good and a highly recommend book and very easy to understand. Make formula charts and paste somewhere where you can easily read. Make small notes.
All the best
Regards
