Hi aspirant,

You have obtained 15,900 EWS rank in JEE Main. JoSAA counselling is going to be commenced on October 6. Choice filling is very crucial for getting the best possible seat based on a rank.

In order to fill choices it is recommended to fill the top branches and top colleges first. As the seat allocation is done in a chronological order, you should always give priority to the best one. Like in your case you can put CSE and IT of NIT Hamirpur on top. Although it is not compulsory but this is considered good. After this you can put your other priorities. In order to make this preference order, it is very important for you to know your possibilities based on previous year cutoff. You can do this prediction by using the JEE Main college predictor tool by clicking on the following link: https://engineering.careers360.com/jee-main-college-predictor?icn=QnA&ici=qna_answer

Hope it helps you.
