GM University Davangere offers diploma, UG, PG and doctoral degrees in the disciplines of engineering, pharmacy, commerce, computer application, management and administration. 

GMU Davangere courses are offered in full-time mode. GMU Davangere UG courses include B.Tech, BBA, B.Sc, B.Com, BCA and B.Pharma. GMU Davangere PG courses include M.Sc, M.Tech, MBA, M.Com and MCA. 

GMU Davangere also offers Ph.D programmes to prospective students. To qualify for admissions in GM University Davangere, students must sit for entrance exams such as KCET, GATE, PGCET, and GMUCET as per the eligibility criteria guidelines of the university.

B.E./B.Tech 

Passed 12th standard examination with P.C.M/ P.C.B/ P.C.M.B subjects and 50% aggregate marks (45% in case of SC/ST/CAT-1).

Accepted Exam: KCET exam.

B.Sc

Passed 10+2 boards from a recognised board.

Passed PUC – II Science, Arts or Commerce securing a minimum of 35% of marks.

BBA

Passed 10+2 boards from a recognised board/

Passed PUC – II Science, Arts or Commerce securing a minimum of 35% of marks.

Passed JODC / Three years Diploma in Engineering of Government of Karnataka.

B.Com

Passed 10+2 from a recognised board.

Passed a three year diploma in Engineering of Government of Karnataka.

B.Pharma

Passed pre-university examination with P.C.M/ P.C.B/ P.C.M.B subjects and 45% aggregate marks (40% in case of SC/ST/CAT-1).

Candidates passed from D.Pharm with at least 50% aggregate marks can get admissions directly in II year.

Admissions based on KCET exam.

BCA

Passed 10+2 from a recognised board.

Passed a three year diploma in Engineering of Government of Karnataka.

M.Sc

Passed the BCA/B.Sc./B. Com/B.B.M. Degree Examination with not less than 50% aggregate marks. A relaxation of 5% will be given for SC/ST/CAT-1.

M.E./ M.Tech

Passed the BE / BTech Examination from UGC recognised University with 50% in aggregate. Relaxation of 5% will be given for SC/ST/CAT-1.

Accepted Exam: GATE/ PGCET/ GMUSET.

MBA

Completed graduate degree under 10+2+3 or 10+2+4 pattern under any discipline securing at least 50% marks in aggregate. A relaxation of 5% will be given for SC/ST/CAT-1.

Accepted Exam: GMUSET/ K- PGCET.

M.Com

Passed the B. Com/B.B.M. Degree Examination with not less than 50% aggregate marks. Relaxation of 5% will be given for SC/ST/CAT-1.

MCA

Passed the BCA/B.Sc./B. Com/B.B.M. Degree Examination with not less than 50% aggregate marks. Relaxation of 5% will be given for SC/ST/CAT-1.

Accepted Exam: PGCET/ GMUSET.

Ph.D

Passed Master’s Degree of minimum two years’ duration or equivalent from an institution/university recognized by UGC. Relaxation of 5% will be given for SC/ST/OBC.

Candidates with Master’s degrees from foreign universities will have to produce a certificate of recognition by the Association of Indian Universities (AIU).

Note: For admissions to GM University, students must have appeared for the necessary entrance examinations as per university guidelines.
