yes the college has all the necessary infrastructure facilities and equipments. the wifi is not very stable in classrooms all other facilities are well mainted overall environment can be cleaner esp canteen where pigeons are around
studying psychology optional english and journalism to pursue psychology in the future and get into the sports industry. the quality of teaching is great. every aspect is covered in the syllabus where practical understanding is valued. yes it is updated and makes us aware
not sure for arts courses it's difficult to acquire placements not sure about the quality not sure about the percentage of students placed average salaries of interns are not as what is expected.
course costs around 90k-1l yes it is a good value for money
good campus, lively the teachers and support staff are friendly and encouraging location is central blr which is safe according to me the area around the college could be better
Arrupe block can be improvised as it is the oldest block . Apart from that we have all the necessary equipments. College often conducts cleanliness drives. Hence cleanliness is maintained throughout .
I studied B.com regular. Curriculum was quite good and the faculty is excellent at what they do. But more of practical knowledge can be included. I also think few subjects were unnecessary or irrelevant
I didn’t sit for placements so I dont know much about it. Nothing is guaranteed during placements from what I have heard. Also 2nd shift students often miss out on opportunities which was very unfair.
My course costed 90,000₹ per year. I do think I got my money’s worth.
I think the best thing about this college is the freedom we get to do things, let it be taking part in fests or educational expedition. Faculty is very supportive and guides us through it well. Worst part is probably that students can’t access the lift unless injured. And parking space is not sufficient. Location has never been a problem and I’ve always felt safe.
the college has everything required in the space that is provided. water filters in every corner, spacious canteens with vast variety, labs, courts, ground, gym and what not. it has all the necessary facilities needed. wifi and smartboards are also provided, well ventilated classrooms and clean washrooms. the food is hygienic and worth the money paid.
i studied ba economics and sociology and it was my interest in these subjects. the teachers did a great job in teaching where they prioritised not just finishing the syllabus but also engagement with the students and helped in understanding each topic well.
the quality in placements are not upto the mark and it could be better. the highest salary package i think would be 6lpa and i think it went to the commerce or science courses. the average salary was 3.5lpa and placement process was pretty efficient. the college was supportive but could do better management in getting more job opportunities but honestly speaking, we can't blame them as the job market itself is a bit broken so they can only do so much.
definitely worth the money because the college is flexible in terms of timing and provides good education and teachers are good. provides a good package for the money so it is worth it.
campus life was genuinely good, there were so many activities and so many fests conducted by each department of the college which kept everyone engaged in something or the other. the location was also in one of the prominent centres of the city. the timings were very flexible and the whole college is diverse in every way. the college handled emergencies well and the support staff were good. it's very easy to blend in as the people are generally nice and kind.
Infrastruct is really good but there are few things that can be changed keeping in mind about the population in the college. The break between classes where students need to exchange class rooms are very crowded and takes more than 10 mins to change classes. This is one thing I dint like about the infrastructure in sju. Rest everything is peace.
Studying BCOM, because I've always been interested in commerce and business. Mainly accounts and finance. Yes, I think the curriculum is updated and is suitable for the recent development in the course. Yes makes me job ready as there is a compulsion of internship program where we gain experience and is easy for seeking jobs after ug
Great placements, there were continuous placements happening 10 to 15 percent of students were placed in reputed companies through placements average package came up to 3to 6 LPA. Overal a good placements
70k per year Yes
More cultural more opportunities to grow not just in academics but also in other activities Great support by teachers but few are not that supportive Yes safe
No
The infrastructure of my college was pretty good, it had all the necessary facilities and equipment. The whole campus was pretty hygienic and clean. I Liked the fact that there we dustbins around every corner.
I studied BA in psychology and English, I was interested in psychology but i also ended up liking english. The course was extensive and i quite liked my curriculum. I feel they shoilf update their curriculum now.
Zero placements for Psychology and english students. Very bad. They shoulf give opportunities to all the kids from all the courses. They should set up career fairs so people can get equal opportunities.
Value for money was good.
I loved the campus life. It was quite good. I lived my college life as i expected. There are a lot of academic and extra-curricular activities that the students can engage and keep themselves busy.

The infrastructure of St Joseph's University is really great. There are different building blocks for each department. The classses are big enough for almost 90 students. The college also has small canteen and a big canteen which offers various varieties of food. The college has different buildings for UG and PG.There's facilities such as boys hostel, Playground, Basketball court, gym, labortories,WIFI etc.
I'm studying Bacelor's of Commerce. The quality of teaching is moderate. The teachers are very friendly and helpfull. The curriculum is updated and has recent developments. For somebody to pursue something in the corporate world, this degree is great.
There are various varieties of placement offers for the students. The placement percentage of students who got placed are 70%-80%. THe packages ranges from 18 lakhs to 20 lakhs. The average was 4 lakhs LPA. The placement process was very pleasant and convenient.
Per year the fees structure was alomost 90k to 1lakhs.The experience was not fully money worth beacuse we had to put money from our pockets for certain requirements.
Campus life overall was really great. There were lot of fests, celebrations, and activities involved throughout such as sports, culturals, festivals etc.The environment felt really safe and supportive. The teachers are very kind.
Yes our college has all the infrastructure , facilities and equipment. Our classrooms have WIFI facilities, and smart board it is using and it is well maintained . The living space is well cleaned and maintained and the food is good and clean the food is hygienic .
I have completed Viscom for film making and the quality of teaching is best .faculties are helpful to guide the students. Yes our curriculum is updated and includes all the recent developments in the field .
They are providing 100% placements in our college . Above 80% of the students were placed . About 7-8 LPA . Average salary 2-3 LPA . Yes placement process easy and little bit complicated . Yes our college is supportive .
It's very very worth it to conplete the course
Most and best experience campus life
Another important highlights about this call is its infrastructure. Campus itself is quite small, highly efficient, making of the limited space more over Prestige and instantly noticeable. Once it’s in premises. The classrooms here our state of the art classes equipped with projectors and sound system, and also the colleges premises are covered with WIFI, thus being beneficial for checking student attendance as well as doing quick search before and after lecture.
Economic atmosphere at HD is tougher rewarding as a great deal of emphasis. It is laid on the acquiring industry based knowledge being an independent College course is refreshed every now and then in the light of trends in the business understanding in data analytics and international business form a part of the curriculum. The lecture at the college are quite friendly and offer combination of both the article as well as practical inside.
One of the key highlights of the colleges placement the institution both placement cell which operates around the year with a sole objective of pronouncing high-level organisation, particularly those involved in finance and consulting and so as BCA, some leading multinational companies including German scans deal.KPMGNDY. Most of this organisation provide job opening in the field of auditing taxation and investment banking. While the average package runs around 5X per annum, there are outstanding and more go beyond for mentioned numbers based on the organisation performance standing in market.
Talking about the buck ratios believe among those colleges which give the best return on investment in terms of studies as it is a government assistant at autonomous College, therefore, the fees structure is fairly normal considered to the exposure that one get from the private University for normal amount, you can get a chance to study under the experience, faculties in the greatest location of Central Bangalore and last range of accomplished graduates
Speaking about the same, the campus life here is exciting. We get to meet number of people. The campus is too good. They also provide multiple competition fair. We can enjoy being actual college student and enjoy the college life to its extreme.
Are you gone further? I would insist all the students to join this college as it is one of the best colleges in the central Bangalore and provide the best life in Bangalore and also it is surrounded by number of exciting activities such as brigade, MG Road, which is easily accessible and also pursue a better life at Bangalore.
The college infrastructure is good in the departments that receive funding attention. However, there is a visible disparity between well-funded departments and others. Students in certain programs feel their facilities are being neglected compared to the engineering or management blocks.
The college brings in external experts for technical electives, which significantly improves the quality of those courses. Students benefit from both academic and industry perspectives. However, the core required subjects are taught without such external input and the quality difference is stark.
Overall, the campus placement system works for most students and the process is fair. Everyone gets equal access to drives regardless of which professor likes them. However, students with niche career goals — research, civil services, creative industries
The new hostel block is comfortable with good ventilation and adequate storage space. Hot water supply works reliably in the new wing. However, the old hostel block is a different story — rooms are cramped, fans are insufficient in summer, and the plumbing needs a complete overhaul. Disparity between blocks is stark.
Teaching quality is good in the majority of subjects and faculty bring genuine expertise. The course structure is logical and well-sequenced. However, a handful of subjects are taught by faculty who clearly are not specialists in the area.
The diversity of companies visiting has improved compared to what seniors described three years ago. Both startups and established firms are represented. However, startups visiting campus often offer roles with below-market salaries or vague job descriptions.
