The infrastructure facilities of SASTRA with world class standards. The state of the art facilities and fully equipped laboratories stands matches a testimony to this claim. SASTRA has subscription to e-brary and springer which enables access to over 45000 e-books. Also the campus os networked with Gigabit fibre optic cable and wifi is enabled in the entire campus.
Academics
In SASTRA we have well experienced facilities and a structured and updated curriculum. This is the reason for its academic excellence.. Also we gain practical knowledge through the site visit and survey camps.
Placements
The placements offered in SASTRA is ample for its students. All branches of students are getting placed every year. Also we know when it comes to civil engineering the company will demand for experience. So they are also trying to get us some internship offers.
Value-for-money
The fees structure here in SASTRA is far better when compared with other private colleges. The hostel fee mess fee are comparatively less and hostel students will get scholarship based on their performance.
Campus Life
Apart from academics we have various sports clubs and cultural clusters for students to showcase their talents. We have other event management teams wherein you will be exposed to students from different walks of life and you will have an opportunity to learn team work. The campus is entirely safe.
Anything Else
If you are fortunate enough to get admission in SASTRA, you will definitely have a wonderful experience here. All 4 years will teach you something new. You will definitely be a good engineer equipped with skills to face the worldly challenges.

College Infrastructure
yes first of all after IIT,NIT in tamil nadu ,sastra is famous for its outstanding infrastructure for various departments and various laboratories each and every class has WiFi facility and smart class facilities they are periodically checked for its frequencies the living spaces are fully cleaned day by day and the food is ambient in our college canteens college has 4 different canteens for both north and south indian foods
Academics
i m studying M.Tech(advanced manufacturing)intg. course because i want to reduce my studying period after higher secondary so i chose this course the staffs are highly knowledgeable on that subjects and teaches in a lively interaction manner .yeah we are studying according to our job oriented moreover these subjects are enough for the startup on their fields also .the subjects helps us to maintain both technical and managemental aspects
Placements
placements are very much better in our college than comparing others. about 95%+ are placed in our college placement itself i don't know exactly but i have heard 24 l.p.a in paypal by a computer science engineering student . average salary is about 3.5 l.p.a placement is good and fine yes our college is very supportive and providing placement trainings also
Value-for-money
1.5 lakhs per annum .yeah definitely i m feeling my money is worth of my learning and our lab facilities gives us a real time application of our learning comparing with the other colleges we have separate lab and building facilities for each and every departments and 24 hrs online library a good environment in our college
Campus Life
highly enjoyed my college life and many activities i can engage with my friends both in technical and fun part . teachers are highly supportive and friendly to the students its on a highway but 24 hrs bus facilities on our college gate itself in case of emergencies it is nearby to the hospitals in vallam and thanjavur
Anything Else
mainly i want to share that the college is fun filled and technically very strong and co operative and finally in the placement cells we are highly placed compared with others so truly we entered as a child and leaving as a matured leaders

College Infrastructure
For research in medical department college is providing good labs and equipments and for other departments it is just ok. Hostel food is just average we should adjust and adopt to the hostel.Regarding sports this college is just ok they will not allow us to participate in any other clg fests
Academics
Iam studying btech civil engineering. The quality of teaching is average. It is not practical. No guarranty for job in my sector but if we try in IT departments we can secure a good job.Curriculum is updated and it includes recent developmemts in fields
Placements
We cannot expect placements in core sector but we have to try hard for securing job in core sector. We can secure job in IT field most of the students will place in IT sector only.Yes college is supportive in providing placements to all the students
Value-for-money
Yes it is value for money. This college fees structure is reasonable and provide good experience to what we pay.
Campus Life
Comparing to other colleges it is quite strict they will not provide permissions to go to home.we have to return hostel by 8pm and for girls 6pm.In case of emergency they provide ambulance and cabs. The location is far away from city and it feels somewhat difficult to go to any good shops and malls
Anything Else
Overall it is good if we adapt to the college and we should maintain good relationship with seniors, staff and friends. And enjoy college life

Food is the area where the management needs to concentrate more! One day when i went late to mess I understood that the workers cook soo good just for themselves not for us! The food never taste good it's like a tonic with foul smell!.
Academics
I don't know the process of selecting the faculty. But I've found that there are a few who who doesn't have subject. But there are a lot of experienced faculty whom u can trust blindly. They will guide u in the perfect way
Placements
Comparitively low in civil engineering department but if we try a bit we can get placed easily in IT. average salary offered by the companies is around 3.2lakhs. College is very supportive and helpful to make the placement easy and smooth for the students.
Value-for-money
When i joined here i paid 55k per sem as tution fees and now it has increased to 65k . Totally it costs around 1.7-1.9lakhs per annum based on the amount u spend outside. The money is totally worthy bcoz u will know how to face any situation in life besides studying.
Campus Life
Well! There a quite a few people who are soo sadistic that they will make u roam around them
Anything Else
Explore to other campus Attend each and every event and try to learn something new rather focussing on how to win.

Quite good than expected. Its having a huge library with stock of all sorts of subjects you need and it's having wonderful lab facilities Some might seem outdated but they are now refurbishing and buying new ones
Academics
Curriculum is on par with India's premier institutions. You will get to know each and every important aspects of your stream as well as you will also come to know about many things practically which u can apply later
Placements
Yet to know as I am gonna complete my bachelor's degree in the year of 2021.But as of know upto what I heard is the institution is mostly trying to provide 100 percent placements despite the unfavorable circumstances they are facing socially.
Value-for-money
Worth for money
Campus Life
Got many beautiful memories and moments to cherish for lifetime.
