The SASTRA University Online MCA programme is designed to equip students with theoretical and practical skills in the world of computing. Spread across four semesters, the MCA online course curriculum at SASTRA University covers subjects like Data structures, Operating systems, Big Data Analytics and other Computer Science related subjects. SASTRA University will conduct examinations in an online proctored mode. The exam comprises internal assessments and the end-semester exams. The internal assessment holds 30 marks whereas the end-semester exams have 70 marks. The examination will be held for a total of 3 hours at the end of the semester for each credited course. On gaining a passing grade, the student accumulates the course credits as earned credits. His/her performance is measured by the number of credits that the student has earned and the weighted grade point average. A student will be declared to have passed a course if he/she secures the ‘D’ grade based on continuous internal assessment and the end-semester examination marks put together.
An interested candidate must have passed graduation from a recognised university having Mathematics as one of the subjects either in graduation or in class 12.
