Shanmugha Arts Science Technology Research and Academy (SASTRA), Thanjavur offers a Master of Computer Applications (MCA) in an online mode. Eligibility Criteria

Evaluation Process

SASTRA University will conduct examinations in an online proctored mode. The exam comprises internal assessments and the end-semester exams. The internal assessment holds 30 marks whereas the end-semester exams have 70 marks. The examination will be held for a total of 3 hours at the end of the semester for each credited course. On gaining a passing grade, the student accumulates the course credits as earned credits. His/her performance is measured by the number of credits that the student has earned and the weighted grade point average. A student will be declared to have passed a course if he/she secures the ‘D’ grade based on continuous internal assessment and the end-semester examination marks put together.
