TCE Madurai Facilities

Thiagarajar College of Engineering (TCE) facilities and infrastructures are provided to the students that ensure that they have access to a comprehensive and diverse learning experience as a whole. The institute has world-class infrastructure that is well supported with cutting-edge technology and staffed by professionals. Thiagarajar College of Engineering facilities includes dedicated hostels for both boys and girls with all amenities, library, computer centre with Wi-Fi connection, data centre, sports complex, auditorium and cafeteria. The details of TCE facilities are mentioned below:

Boys Hostel
Men's hostel is divided into four blocks having separate number of rooms and capacities. It is equipped with food courts, home theatre, reading room and garden. Medical facilities in the form of a dispensary and internet facility are also available. Occasional tournaments are also organised within the campus.
Girls Hostel
Women's hostel has a current capacity of around 960 girls and is located in an eco-friendly environment. There are two sprawling dining halls with modern equipment including steam cookers, idli backing unit, separate milk boiler, coffee maker, water cooler, vegetable peeler and cutter and an RO water purifier plant. It has been ensured that each facility is provided to the students in the form of a photocopier stall, grocery store, salon, healthcare centre, gym and laundry.
Medical/Hospital
The college has health centre with a first aid facility for the students.
Gym
The college has Gym facility for the students.
Library
Students can access electronic as well as printed study materials in the library. The collection of the library includes several books, magazines, e-books, journals, e-journals, CD as well as DVDs, video lectures, etc.
Sports
TCE Madurai has several courts for outdoor and indoor games such as basketball court, volleyball court, badminton court, table tennis court, hockey, judo, chess, kabaddi, and an athletic track.
I.T Infrastructure
TCE Madurai has a huge computer centre that is filled with several computer systems. The systems can be used by the members of the campus such as staff, faculty members, as well as students for assignments and any other thing.
Cafeteria
The college cafeteria serves delicious and hygienic food at very reasonable prices for students and teachers.
Auditorium
The campus has a very spacious auditorium hall. The hall is used for different events, seminars, conferences.
Transport Facility
The college has the transport facility for students and staff.
Alumni Associations
The college has a good networking for alumni association.
Laboratories
The college has departmental based laboratories facility for the students.
Wifi
In addition to the main campus, the hostels of the TCE Madurai are also well connected with a high speed wi-fi network.
Classrooms
The college has more than 90 classrooms. Every classroom consists of modern audio-video tools for the sessions.

Good in infrastructure and super college near by madurai and but walking distance is high from gate to class and every where is with wifi and good for education with internet and a digital library with systems

College Infrastructure

The iinfrastructure will be pleasant and good with many trees.There are 2 grounds. College is situated in a pleasant environment. There is one open Auditorim and one Ac room auditorium. We have solar power electricity and rain water harvesting system.We follow 5S principle in our college

College Infrastructure

Good infrastructure, high end facilities and equipments. Smart system as usual but best one is TVS auto lab, Siemens lab, controller training centre, Power electronics labs, controls and automation labs etc. And those days were still the greatest.

Hello,

An independent, government-funded college with ties to Madurai Kamaraj University is Thiagarajar College Madurai.

The college provides 15 postgraduate programmes in addition to 25 undergraduate courses. Additionally, it provides PhD and M.Phil courses in a range of disciplines.

There are 4805 students enrolled in the college overall, with 2213 boys and 2592 girls.
