College Infrastructure
Great infrastructure with excellent lab facilities and classroom. Got free WiFi in college for students as well as hosteliers. spaces and well the entire campus area is kept clean and maintained regularly. Has got more trees especially the Banyan tree is what I admire also lot more green area regularly lawn mowed and perfectly maintained.Got Living
Academics
I recently graduated as an infrastructure Engineer from here. I studied this cause it was a combination of technical with management studies. The quality of teaching was excellent all the facilities who handled were experienced and well-versed on what they taught. My curriculum was kept updated and it had more real time case studies which helped me gain more knowledge.
Placements
The best thing I could say is placements. The placement cell will be very active and lot many companies visit yearly. Package is heavy as well especially IT, most of top companies recruit from our college. Each year TCS,CTS, and Infosys make their bulk recruitment from ours. I can probably tell that being a student here I grabbed an opportunity to get through Infosys.
Value-for-money
The cost spent on course was worth it. Luckily our batch got access to new software named BIM which was evolving in construction industry. The College bought the software for us got it installed for 20L.
Campus Life
One of the best thing I would tell is campus life. Each and every one of our college have their favourite spot inside the campus, as it's more green cover we together spend our leisure time as well our study time around the campus rather than class room. There will be sound of birds all around and monkeys wander often there some peacocks too arewill be like a park, no disturbance of noise and vechile sound. The Campus is entirely save and we have got a dispensary inside.
Anything Else
Myself being a nature enthusiast and a wildlife photographer, I personally love my college a lot. Usually on weekends when people prefer to stay at home. I would like to go to college and feel the silence admist the old trees and greenery that covers.

College Infrastructure
There is central computing center round the clock to cater to the needs of the students. The lab facilities are good and well maintained. The campus is clean and the food provided by the canteen and mess is good and hygienic. Students are also encouraged to perform research in a lab outside the regular curriculum.
Academics
The curriculum is regularly updated. The quality of teaching for most of the subjects like digital electronics, signal processing, is at par to meet the industrial standards. Recent developments in the fields are included in the curriculum and assessments are standard.
Placements
Placement process was present. almost 100 percent placement in software companies and many got core companies and high paying companies with more than 6 lpa. Average salary at my time was around 3 lpa. College was very supportive in finding the right company for the students.
Value-for-money
Fees was nominal and worth the money for the infrastructure provided . The cost was less than 50k per year at my time. The knowledge and experience acquired from the student friendly faculty and the laboratory supports provided are really worth the money.
Campus Life
Location can handle emergencies. Location is kind on interior in the state far from places of active academic activities. Teachers and support staff are very cordial. Various co-curricular and extra curricular are conducted by the seniors for the juniors.
Anything Else
Overall experience was good. I feel i did not fully utilise the facilities of the institute for a better carreer. I recommend the institute especially the department I studied for the students aspiring good industrial and research career in the domain.

Thiagarajar College of Engineering provides quality education in the field of engineering. The campus is spread over an area of 143 acres with a lush green area. The institute provides various facilities to students such as well-structured classrooms with projector facility which helps students understand the subjects in a better manner. Moreover, the institute has highly structured computer labs where all the systems are connected with the internet and all the training sessions in the computer

We have smart boards and we have wifi enabledThe institute encourages students to take part in sports activities and organises sports programs that can help students take up team building and leadership activities. College Infrastructure
As infrastructure has been considered, my college has very good infrastructure facilities. Each classroom has been provided with a projector and also a smart board. All books in our library is at good condition and of course labs are well maintained.
Academics
I am doing my ECE 2nd year. As far as my department is concerned, the teachers are quite knowledgeable and many of them have their PhD. Our college is known for its research facilities. Staffs are student friendly and can approach them anytime
Placements
In my college, 90 percent of students get placed each year. Around 85% get placed at IT companies and remaining at core companies. But only a few will be recruited by core companies. The highest salary offered is around 25 lakhs per annum by Amazon.
Value-for-money
As I entered this college through Tamil Nadu engineering counselling through government aided seat my fee per year is very less and it's around rupees 17000 per year. I feel like the facilities that they provide is worth the money you pay.
Campus Life
I love my college campus very much. It has very good atmosphere with lot of trees and nature around us. Roads are neat and it has lot of extra curricular activities too. It is completely safe as ragging is strictly prohibited

As infrastructure been considered, my college has a very good infrastructure facilities. Each classrooms is been provided with a projector. All books in our college library is at good conditions. Labs are well maintained.
Academics
Am studying in the electronics and communication department, 2nd year. As my department is considered all staffs are very talented , has more knowledge in their field. They are all student friendly. We can approach them with doubts without any hesitations.
Placements
In my college ,90% of the students get placed each year. Nearly 85% get placed at IT jobs , remaining 15% at core companies. Core companies would come to all departments and recruit only very few students.
Value-for-money
As I had entered this college through a tamil nadu engineering counselling, through government aided seat my fee per year is easily affordable it's ₹17000 per year. I feel my money's worth. They provides a good facilities for me in this fee.

College Infrastructure
My college has a good infrastructure facilities, equipments. Each classrooms is provided with projectors , well designed benches. My college also gives equal importance to sports activities. All laboratories has a well maintained equipments.
Academics
As academics is considered. My college has mostly a very talented staffs , they are all students friendly staffs. A student would approach a staff with any doubts without any hesitation. Academics has no drawbacks in my college.
Placements
As regarding placements , one would surely get placed at any company, if they had cleared all the papers. Core companies will come to hier students to all departments. But they select only a few numbers.
Value-for-money
As I had entered this college through Tamilnadu engineering counselling , through aided seat. My fee per year is just only ₹17000. Yeah I feel my fee cost worthy. The college provides me a very good facilities for the fee which I pay.
Campus Life
I love my college campus very much. Many events would take place in a month. Especially during even sems each department celebrates cultural programs. This had added many sweet memories to my college life diaries.

My college is life is one of the finest experience in my life. My college is very liberal and allows students to expose them and they encourage it. The staffs are friendly except very few, they help to greater extent. Our college provides lab, funds if it is needed for project. They encourage students a lot, there are two mentors to train us separately one is personal mentor to share in case of any problems and the other I technical mentor who guide us to do many projects. Our college consists of special interest groups namely mobile application development sign, information security, data mining, distributed systems for Information Technology and it differs according to the stream, students are asked to align under that stream and attend various workshops and paper presentation etc.Our college is not very strict with attendance, they give freedom to us by allowing mobile phones but it must be switched off inside class rooms, there is a good connecting WiFi so students can surf Google at any time. There are so many labs open till night, if student want to work. There is special placement classes arranged by staffs as well as seniors. They tell us how to prepare for placements and have mock interview and test to analyze our performance

It is really hard to get admission in this college. Every year students' cut off mark is from 95 to 98 out of 100. this college has good infrastructure, faculties, good hostel for both boys and girls, 24hr security, free wifi etc. and also won many awards in international level.

Since the day I joined this college, I have developed a lot. This is a world of engineering not just a college. We are given projects every semester(EEE department) which helps us in developing our skills. About 97-98% of the stydents gets placed every year by many big companies. But we have bad side in hostel.

Well, my college life is quite enjoying from day1 itself. I cherish every moment. Infrastructure-I should say it is equipped with best techs and industry sponsored labs and also exposed to new technologies.About faculty, I would rate 30% as I'm from another state, I find it really difficult to listen to their Tamil lectures as mostly 70% are in Tamil only.When it comes to Placement ,it's one of the top almost 96-99% placed in recent years.Downside on Recreational facility ,though there are playground, indoor and outdoor games, canteen etc there are no recreational park or so..we have to face the wrath of the hot sun.Hostel there are no AC rooms at all ,fans are provided but cant control the heat..rooms are quite compact ,not properly maintained sometimes there is water scarcity problem too, we have to go to other blocks.But provides enough cupboards to keep things secure.So the point is that there is nothing called perfect, the above are just my experience, not some sort of complaint. As a student, we have to face all these things and adjust it. Overall aspect- I like studying here with such good friends.Nevertheless, it's one of the top colleges in India so I feel proud to be a student of this temple.

The labs in computer science department provides excellent support to new technologies and we can learn more and implement these technologies in each specific labs and can develop skills in that particular technology. The Industry exposure is also good as certain subjects are taught by IT professionals. Every semester special sports events are conducted department wise which gives opportunities to all students who are eager to participate.

Everything is good.. Good locality. Very nice infrastructure. Experienced faculty.. Very friendly. Dual placement. High package companies.. Experimental syllabus. Student friendly organisation. Motivation not only on studies as well as sports and extracurricular activities.

It is in one of the best college in Tamil Nadu.It provides best quality of technical education.It provides a 100% placement every year.It has more faculty from IITs. Most of the faculty are doctorate and work experienced. Its pedagogy is different from the other institution. It gives more importance to students placement and career.

The college life is relaxed. Weekends are holidays, which gives the students some leisure time. The professors in Computer Science department are very friendly. Regarding their teaching, some are good while some are not that good. But everyone treated the students with respect and care. Some professors who taught me from other departments like English and Mechanical were also good. The infrastructure is quite good, though Internet connectivity can be improved. The best thing about TCE is the exposure it gives to higher studies opportunities. Lectures are held to make students aware of different opportunities. TCE has tie-ups with T.I.M.E. for CAT coaching classes in campus which is very convenient for students. Hostel facilities can be improved though.

My college was by far the best institution in terms of developing a young mind towards greater heights. I learned this when I went to industry as well as my post graduation. I was very much comfortable than all other people there. The staff are very helpful. The exposure we gained was tremendous. It helped ease in to my job and later on into my post graduation studies. The involvement of students in all activities is what made this possible.
