Bachelor of Engineering in Electronics and Communications Engineering is a four years full-time undergraduate engineering program offered by Thiagarajar College of Engineering, Madurai affiliated to Anna University, Chennai and approved by AICTE.

Eligibility Criteria

Passed 10+2 examination with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects along with one of the Chemistry/ Biotechnology/ Biology/ Technical Vocational subject/ Computer Science/ Information Technology/ Informatics Practices/ Agriculture/ Engineering Graphics/ Business Studies. Obtained at least 45% marks (40% marks in case of candidates belonging to reserved category) in the above subjects taken together. OR Passed Diploma (in Engineering and Technology) examination with at least 45% marks (40% marks in case of candidates belonging to reserved category) subject to vacancies in the First Year, in case the vacancies at lateral entry are exhausted.

Admission Details

Admission to all undergraduate courses (/academics) ie. Bachelors in Engineering (B.E.) are carried out through the single window system of the Anna University. Students can choose the courses based upon the state-wise rank calculated by their marks in Higher Secondary Examination conducted by the Department of Education, Government of TamilNadu.

Reservations are provided for BC/MBC/DNC/SC/ST etc as per the rules of the Government of TamilNadu.

Reservations are also provided for Physically handicapped / Ex-Service men / Sports persons / Other state candidates.

College Infrastructure

The college infrastructure is five-star, with top notch labs, a spacious campus and comfortable ladies rest area, and excellent facilities. The food can improve, but overall, its outstanding. The spacious campus is an advantage.

College Infrastructure

Infrastructure is designed to meet both academic and extracurricular needs. Each department has well-maintained labs and research centers that allow students to gain hands-on experience. The computer labs are updated with fast internet and the latest software. The central library is a peaceful space, equipped with a mix of physical books and e-learning resources. Hostel facilities are secure, with clean rooms and a hygienic mess.

Good in infrastructure and super college near by madurai and but walking distance is high from gate to class and every where is with wifi and good for education with internet and a digital library with systems
