In order to get a call for GD/PI round anything above 88 percentile (general category) may suffice, however the school is doing great year by year so nothing specific could be said. As such there is no percentile that can guarantee you a seat in UBS Chandigarh, since a lot depends upon your GD/PI as well.

UBS has different observed different admission pattern over the past few years. However to ensure your slot in UBS you must score at least 90 percentile if you don’t belong to any reserved category. If you have sports/defence/SC-ST-OBC Qouta then as low as 60 percentile can also get you through the admissions. SGC is another category but it usually closes at 80 percentile.

My father is also a defense personel and I also want to take admission in that category, if you want to admission in punjab university then you have to personally call them ask them for any fee concession or any benefit, they will advise you exact benefit and 5% is reserved for defence personel.

University Business School (UBS) offers 6 postgraduate courses in Business and Management. UBS Chandigarh has seen phenomenal growth in the past few years setting an average package of 10 lakh per annum. The accepted scores for admissions are CAT and PU entrance exams.

The mode of entrance exam is both online and offline. Counselling will be done after at the University only. For the purpose of MBA CAT scores are accepted. If we talk about Executive MBA and M.com then it is done on the PU-CET basis followed by Group Discussion and Personal Interview.

The cut-offs vary every year depending on certain factors and they change category wise also. Generally there's not much difference between the general category cutoff and the obc category cut-off. You need to get more than 75% in the entrance exam to be considered eligible for admission and get a seat. But, it's better if you get more than 85%. The marks in the written exam are given more importance and the rest 15% marks are divided into GD-PI. Hope this helps.

Final selection is done through the overall performance of the candidates.  The overall cut off required for UBS Chandigarh Admission by a general category student is expected to be around 90 to 92 percentile. Admission to MBA programs will be granted to individuals who clear all rounds after considering their profile and academic background.

Students must fulfill the eligibility criteria in addition to clearing the CAT cut off as decided by the institute. The minimum eligibility criteria for UBS is given below..

1. Applicants should have a Bachelor's Degree with at least 50% marks in the final examination (45% for SC/ ST/ OBC and PwD candidates).
2. They should have passed the final examination conducted by the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India or England, Institute of Cost and Works Accountants of India or England or Institute of Company Secretaries of India.

Congratulation for the result.As you have good academics score and also you have good job experience which will be very beneficial for you.Now if we talk about both these colleges,i would prefer you to go for KJ Somaiya College,Mumbai,because it is one of the best private colleges and in terms of placement it is better than UBS Chandigarh.
