I am getting printing engineering in Jadavpur University in first round of WBJEE counselling this year. Will it upgrade in second round to power engineering?
See JU is the most preferred college in westbengal. So expecting for upgradation can lead you to problems such as not getting a seat at all. Now you have to play a game of probability. This are the fields of engineering where the density of students per seat is very high so you have to face some competitions there. So its your decision, it can't be said with surety, you have to take the risks if you get a upgrade else I would say, as this year the qualifying percentage have increased in WBJEE then the competition will also increase so its better if you can get admitted in Printing technology although let me assure you that most of the students of printing engineering don't work in the core field but they move towards the CSE/IT jobs so its same kind of a option you are going to explore. Now its all about your decision.
