do i have to register separately in KEMH SGMC college for mbbs in mumbai university?
No. You needn't register for any Government Medical College separately for admission to MBBS. NEET is the entrance examination for admission to MBBS courses in Government Medical Colleges, Private Medical Colleges, Deemed/Central Universities. Now 15% of the Government Medical Seats are filled through All India Counselling and 85% of the seats are filled through State Counselling. The State Quota seats are filled divided into 70% Regional quota and 30% State Quota. The 70% Regional quota seats are reserved for Candidates belonging to Vidarbha, Marathwada and Rest of Maharashtra. And the Constitutional quota of Maharashtra is for Candidates belonging to SC, ST, Vimukta Jati/Denotified Tribes, NT-A,B,C,D and OBC. NT-B falls under OBC Category. If you want a seat in this College, you should score atleast 25-40 marks more than the previous year cut offs. In 2019, under 30% State quota, the cut offs for SGMC have been as follows:
General Category: 663
OBC: 641
SC: 605
SEBC: 635
ST: 575
Under 70% Regional Quota seats. the cut offs have been as follows:
General Category: 644
OBC: 596
SC: 526
SEBC: 590
ST: 385
Now this is 2019 data and cut offs change every year.
