The lab facilities were not much useful for BBA students. The computer labs were available but were not up to the mark for BBA students. The hostel facilities were at reasonable rates but were only average in terms of the comfort level. The food served in the mess was satisfactory, but not commendable. Students were also given access to sports as a part of the curriculum, and we often played cricket and volleyball on the ground.
Faculty taught through their own words but also tried to explain the underlying concepts with the help of practical examples. Yet, there was a lack of exposure to industry-based teaching during the course. The syllabus for BBA was quite relevant but it fell short of corporate trends as it was not updated on a regular basis.
The salary offered was also not very attractive - the highest package was up to ₹20,000 per month, while the average was around ₹14,000 per month, and the lowest was about ₹10,000 per month. During those years, the companies visiting were mainly small local firms and a few minor private organizations such as Shree Balaji Tele Services, Allied Business Solutions, Jindal InfoTech, and some local marketing & finance companies from Noida and Ghaziabad.
The infrastructure is good and adequate for BBA students. There are projector-equipped classrooms for presentations, a library consisting of management-related books, and computer labs for hands-on knowledge. The campus also possesses a sports ground on which students can play cricket, volleyball, and badminton.
The teachers are friendly and approachable. All of them are well-qualified and give detailed explanations to the management concepts. Some of the professors still use conventional methods of teaching, so the subject becomes slightly theoretical.
Rarely 30–35% students are able to get placed. Some mid-level organizations like Reliance Retail, Aditya Birla Capital, Axis Securities, and Kotak Life visit for placements and provide jobs mainly in sales, customer handling, and management profiles at a basic level.
The library has a digital section that helps students access programming resources and journals easily. Overall, the infrastructure creates an environment where learning feels professional and career-oriented.
They encourage students to take part in live projects, coding challenges, and workshops. Most of the teachers are approachable, and their teaching style is interactive. They give individual attention to students, which makes learning IT concepts simpler and more engaging.
Many students receive opportunities in roles like software testing, development, and technical support. Internship support is also provided to help students build a strong resume. While placements depend on individual skills, the college puts in effort to connect students with good companies.
Classrooms are good, some have AC but they do not always work. The library is small with limited material. Hostels are present and reasonably comfortable, but the food at the canteen is average. Generally, the campus is functional but not well equipped with modern facilities.
The faculty is highly educated and well-versed. They are helpful and attempt to assist students academically, but students must still exert a lot of personal effort. The college provides internal exams from time to time to familiarize the students with university exams.
Companies do not visit the campus for recruitment, and hence the students need to seek opportunities for themselves. Not many students are able to secure employment through personal networking or approaching companies directly. Proactive students might be able to secure jobs in local enterprise or small startups, but otherwise the college does little to support placements.
The college infrastructure is decent but somewhat outdated. Classrooms and labs are functional but not very modern. The campus has a library, a cafeteria, and some sports facilities, but it feels like only basic facilities are provided. The girls’ hostel is on-campus and fairly well-maintained, though the fees are high compared to the services offered.
Teachers encourage students to learn and assist with academic inquiries. Most teachers have industry experience and provide guidance for projects. The course curriculum is relevant and set by the university.
Placement opportunities for BCA students at BIT Meerut are very limited. Few well-known companies visit the campus, and most of them are small IT firms or startups with little recognition. In our batch, the highest salary package was around 3.5 to 4 LPA, and the average is much lower. Students must heavily rely on their own skills and networking to get hired.
The college has decent infrastructure that is well-managed, although the campus is not very large. Hostel facilities are available and include basic mess and canteen services. There are sports and playground areas, but they are limited in size. Classrooms and labs meet academic needs, and the library has a fair collection of books and resources.
The quality of teaching is good, and teachers assist students in understanding concepts clearly. They are easy to approach for questions and guidance. The BCA course at MIT Meerut is affordable, and semester exams are of moderate difficulty, making them manageable for students who study regularly.
On average, about 40 to 50 percent of students secure positions in smaller IT and software companies. The highest salary packages are around 4 to 5 LPA, while the average packages are lower. Companies like Techline Solutions, Cybage, and local software startups occasionally visit the campus.
The campus has a professional environment, and facilities like hostel, canteen, and sports grounds make student life more convenient. The university also provides conference halls and auditoriums for management events and seminars.
The MBA faculty is supportive and focuses on practical learning. They encourage students to take part in case study discussions, role plays, and group presentations. Many professors have corporate backgrounds, which helps bridge the gap between classroom knowledge and real business practices.
The Training and placement cell organizes mock interviews, aptitude sessions, and personality development programs to prepare students. Some students also get a chance to work with start-ups, which adds valuable learning exposure.
There is a library, computer labs, and classrooms. Wi-Fi is available throughout the campus, and some classrooms are air-conditioned. Hostel facilities are basic. The college also runs extracurricular activities like dance, drama, singing, and other cultural events. Art exhibitions and competitions happen occasionally, but overall exposure to industry-related visits is limited.
The course content is relevant for the BCA program, but students need to put in extra effort to gain practical knowledge and qualify for IT roles. Semester exams are manageable and not very difficult. However, classes are not very regular, so much of the learning depends on self-study.
BIT does not have a strong placement cell for BCA students. Only a few small IT and software companies visit the campus, and most students rely on their own skills and off-campus opportunities. Companies like Justdial, Cybage, local IT firms, and small software startups sometimes offer roles, but high-paying packages are rare.
The campus has a student-friendly environment with Wi-Fi and basic facilities that support academics and extracurricular activities. The campus also offers Wi-Fi, seminar halls for presentations, and spaces for extracurricular activities.
They explain concepts clearly and focus on practical learning through presentations, projects, and group discussions. Guest lectures and interactive sessions also help students gain better exposure to real-world business practices.
Placement opportunities for BBA are average, as most companies prefer hiring MBA graduates, but the institute does provide internship support and some job opportunities in marketing, sales, finance, and HR domains. Many students also choose to pursue higher studies after completing BBA.
The infrastructure of BIT is quite good with well-maintained classrooms, computer labs, a library with a wide collection of management and business-related books, and a Wi-Fi enabled campus that supports academic learning.
The Teachers are approachable and supportive, always encouraging students to participate in projects, research, and internships to build real-world skills. They regularly conduct case studies, group discussions, and presentations to enhance learning.
The placement opportunities are decent, with reputed companies visiting the campus for recruitment in marketing, finance, HR, and other domains, though the packages vary depending on individual performance and skill set.
