BIT Meerut Admission Process

Bharat Institute of Technology, Meerut offers diploma, undergraduate and postgraduate degrees in various streams such as engineering and architecture, pharmacy, education, management and business administration, computer application and IT, arts, humanities and social sciences. The programmes offered are- B.Tech in computer science & engineering, B.Tech in electronics & communication engineering, B.Tech in mechanical engineering, B.Tech in civil engineering, B.Tech in information technology, B.Tech in electrical and electronics engineering; M.Tech in Computer science & engineering, M.Tech in electronics and communication engineering and M.Tech in mechanical engineering; D. Pharma, B.Pharma, M.Pharma pharmacology, M.Pharma pharmaceutics; MCA, BBA, BCA, MBA, M.Ed, B.Ed, B.P.Ed, D,El.Ed. Students have the option of opting for specialisations as per their choice and rank in an entrance examination or the qualifying examination. Students can opt for any course only if they meet the eligibility set by the institute in accordance with the guidelines of the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), New Delhi and Dr. A.P.J. Abdul Kalam Technical University (AKTU). The detailed admission process is mentioned below as per the courses.

BIT Meerut Course Admission 2024 Eligibility

Course	Eligibility
D.Pharma	Passed 10+2 with Physics, Chemistry, Biology / Maths.
D.El.Ed	Passed higher secondary / (10+2) or its equivalent examination with at least 50% marks.
B.Tech	Must have secured 50% in 10+2 examination with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics / Biology.
B.Pharma
BBA	Passed 10+2 with at least 50%
BCA	Passed 10+2 is eligible to pursue the BCA course.
B.Ed	Graduation with at least 50% marks
B.P.Ed	Graduation with at least 50% marks; participation in the Inter college, later-Zonal/ District School competition in sports and games. OR Graduation in any discipline with 45% marks and studied physical education as a compulsory elective subject
M.Ed	obtained at least 50% marks in: B.Ed; B.A.B.Ed.; B.Sc.B.Ed; B.El.Ed.
M.Tech	Graduation; must have had Maths in 10+2 or in the year of graduation.
MCA
MBA	Graduation with at least 50% marks,.
M.Pharma	Graduation in the relevant field with minimum 60% marks

Bharat Institute of Technology (BIT), Meerut UG Admission 2024

The selection into various courses is based on the merit in different exams. The admissions to B.Tech programme is made in accordance with the guidelines prescribed by AKTU, Lucknow. Students are admitted through Uttar Pradesh Common Entrance Test (UPCET) conducted by NTA, followed by the counselling conducted by AKTU. Students can also be admitted on the basis of JEE main merit. For all the other courses admission is based on merit of the candidate in the qualifying examination. Students have to register for the entrance exam through the online mode by visiting the official website. They must appear for the entrance exam and participate in the counselling round conducted by AKTU for selecting the course and institute of their choice.

Bharat institute of Technology, Meerut UG Admission procedure:

Candidates have to visit the official website of the institute, click on the admission enquiry tab and register themselves.
They can now fill the application form online, fill in all the details correctly and upload the scanned documents.
After document verification, the institute shall let the candidates know about their applications being accepted or rejected through mail.
Selected students will have to visit the institute in person with all the documents and get them verified.
After the verification process is done, students have to pay the semester fee and confirm the admission.

Bharat Institute of Technology (BIT), Meerut PG Admission 2024

The selection into the MBA programme is made in accordance with the guidelines prescribed by AKTU, Lucknow. Students are admitted through CAT / MAT. Candidates have to register for the entrance exam through online mode by visiting the official website. They must appear for the entrance exam and participate in the counselling rounds for selecting the course and institute of their choice. The admissions into the M.Tech programme is made based on the merit of the candidate in the GATE examination. M.Pharma course requires candidates to appear and score merit in the GPAT exam. Candidates have to participate in the counselling process of the university by visiting the official website AKTU.

Bharat institute of Technology, Meerut PG Admission procedure:

Candidates have to visit the official website of the University / exam conducting authority, and register themselves.
They must fill the application form online, fill in all the details correctly and upload the scanned documents.
After document verification, the university / authority shall release the admit card.
Candidates must appear in the entrance exam and score marks.
The result and cut-off list shall be declared on the official website itself. Candidates have to enter their credentials to view and download the result.
Qualified candidates have to visit the institute in person with all the documents and get them verified.
After the verification process is done, students have to pay the semester fee and confirm the admission.

i am persuing b tech from bharat institute of technology Meerut. I am second year student but I am very curious about that what should I do after 4th year. please help me to clear my vision that I go for further studies like m tech or Ms aur weather I go for job.

It depends upon various factors like, the Financial Condition, Branch of your's, your current CGPA, Country which you want to go and the relation of that Country with our's in near future.

If you can finish your Engineering with 8.5+ or 9+ cgpa then you can apply to various Universities abroad for your MS. You can apply in Germany(Mech or EE or EC). For that you will have appear in TOEFL and IELTS and depending upon the requirement of that particular universities you will have to apply. Just keep 2 LOR's with you and Solid LOR's.

If you want to stay in India then it is totally fine. Start your preparation from today only for GATE or IES as you still have 2 more years in your kitty.
