BIT SINDRI DHANBAD consist of approx area of 400 acres with variety of creatures new lecture hall, large library with latest books , there are total 31 hostels with all facilities, big central ground(sports) , nears to sindri town railway station

Good faculties are very helpful.syllabus is followed through jharkhand University of technology ranchi , there are mid sems and end sem for each semester. First year comprise of engineering maths, indian knowledge system

Placement of core branches have placement percentage upto 90% total branches eleven branches are there where mechanical, electrical,chemical have 95% placement ratio followed by electronics , metallurgy

Excellent state government college in jharkhand

Bit sindri is a state government owned college established in 1949. Since it is very old college, infrastructure is not modern as compared to any other colleges. College has lecture halls whose classrooms are not well maintained but new lecture halls are almost with modern features. Other than that there are well maintained library, laboratories and conditions of hostels is quite average.

Academics is one of the reason for choosing this college. It's exams are taken fairly and contains simple problems. Curriculum is quite outdated but it still develop problem solving abilities in students.

Placements for computer science and engineering here is quite average. Mostly highest placements come from off campus. On campus highest is around 16 lpa and avg placement is around 8 lpa. Mostly companies like tcs, infosys come for mass recruiting whereas some get placed at top product based companies.

Bit sindri is best in terms of value for money. It has highest ROI among all the institutes in Jharkhand.

Campus life is for the active students who participates in clubs and societies activities as they organise events on regular basis. College is located in Sindri so you less to explore outside the campus.

College is amazing but still you have to develop skills to reach at better position.

It is one of the well known college in Jharkhand. Well maintained hostels, libraries and laboratories are the facilities which provides them a good reputation and has potential of becoming a prestigious college.

I chose chemical engineering as BIT Sindri has decent placement in core branches. Subjects are simple whereas curriculum is very old which is the one of the reasons why BIT sindri is left but still every year it produces quality engineers.

Placements are very unpredictable for my branch as some year it is very decent and some year it is performs very bad. Average package is somewhere around 7.5 lpa and highest is 16 lpa. Companies like vedanta, reliance etc often visits the campus.

In terms of return of investment it is best college in Jharkhand. Students also get scholarships every year.

It is located in sindri which is not that much developed as compared to dhanbad. There are 40 clubs and societies in BIT Sindri which provides opportunities for networking.

College has a large campus area of 450 acres. Facilities of classrooms, laboratories and libraries are average as it is not maintained properly over the time and has lack of resources. There are many sports ground in the campus and facilities are quite upto the mark. For hostels, I can say some are well maintained and hygienic while some hostels may disappoint.

I am currently persuing information technology which I chose for my interest in coding and technology. Teachers are experienced and decent. But the curriculum is quite outdated, it is still not advancing into modern facilities.

I want to say students considering this college in future should join clubs and societies as it gives networking opportunities.

College facilities are good. It has lecture hall, library and laboratories. Facilities are very outdated. Classrooms are not well maintained but libraries and laboratories has good amount of equipments and books. But facilities are improving rapidly as new lecture hall with good classrooms and research center are building.

I am studying information technology to pursue my career in software development. Teachers are very experienced and they implement modern way of explaining topics. Syllabus is quite outdated but it still has quality of making good engineers.

Fess are very affordable and it has decent placement as compared to other colleges which makes it best college in terms of returns.

There are clubs and societies which organise events and seminars and keep the students engaged. While it is present in outskirts of the city so you will get less places to visit outside the campus.

I would recommend this college if you want good quality of facilities under affordable budget.

The campus is very big and packed with every department buildings here and there.The academic buildings are a bit old and facilities inside are a bit lacking like you don't get any ac facilities the classroom are packed with ceiling fans which are decades older and which can fall apart any second .If you compare it with any IITs or NITs you surely would be disappointed and would feel it lacking. Aside from this,we do have newly made hostels for first year which is on par with IITs i guess .We also have a newly made research centre and a newly made lecture hall for students especially first years .

Wide range of subjects to choose from .It's a heaven for people with keen interest for knowledge as not only curriculum is updated every year,it also makes students job ready .For first year we have subjects like pps which focuses on coding and covers the basics.

Placements shows a decent number of offers. Generally core branches get good offers whereas cse and it branch may show average performance due to lack of offers from big companies. Average package is around 8 lpa.

It's definitely value for money as the academic cost is very low, my own first year education cost around 17k which included hostel fees and academic fees leaving aside only mess fees which also gets refunded through e-kalyan scholarship (if you are eligible for it) .and your whole four year btech course doesn't cost more than 2 to 3 lakhs (if included mess fees)

This college has a decent infrastructure that fulfills most of the academic requirements of students . Wi-Fi connectivity is available across major areas of the campus which allows student to access online learning materials .

Academic quality of this college is satisfactory . The faculty members posses good subject knowledge and explain the concepts clearly . The syllabus follows University guidelines and it is completed on time.

The college does have all the necessary infrastructure. The new hostels and lecture halls are modern and well equipped. It also has a central library with a vast collection of books. The living spaces are clean and hygienic.

I'm in Information Technology branch and the faculty is experienced and encouraging. Although I would say that the curriculum is old and not includes the recent developments in the field but the students can form a base and learn the other required concepts on their own.

The placements of core branches such as Mechanical and Electrical is very good with almost 100% placement rate. But the branches like CSE, IT, Cyber security do face some trouble in securing good placements.

Value for money is the biggest positive of this college as the fees is very low as compared to other colleges. And for girl student it is even lower. So overall it has a great Return on investment for all the branches.

Campus Life is kind of mid in this college but there are many events both technical and non technical in which students can take part and engage. The students, teachers are other staff are very good and helping in nature.

This college can be a great place for core branches and provides a great value for money. The new hostels and lecture halls are modern and the labs are well equipped which will make you job ready and secure a good placement.

It has all the facilities needed for students such as individual departments,labs, library, sports club gym ,hostels, cafeteria inside campus etc.clean & green environment facilities. Large campus and separate ground for girls available.

All professors are very humble & mindfully towards their students. You can approach your departmental professors anytime during college time for your queries. Classrooms are provided with smart boards

In placement our college is top notch It provides placements to nearly all the students Mainly branches like metallurgy, mining, mechanical have high placement rate Meanwhile the other branches also have good placement but due to high strength of students 100% placement not possible.

No comments on this because as it is a government college the fees are very minimal according to other engineering colleges.
