Bachelor of Technology in Metallurgical Engineering is a four-year full-time course offered by Jharkhand University of Technology, Ranchi and approved by All India Council for Technical Education.

Eligibility Criteria

Applicant must have passed I.Sc. / 10+2 or equivalent examination with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subject along with one of the Chemistry/Biotechnology / Biology / Technical Vocational subject and He/She has obtained at least 45% marks (40% in case of candidate belonging to reserved category) in the above subjects taken together. [I.Sc. / 10+2 or equivalent examination appearing candidate may also apply but he/she will have to pass before the date of Counselling.

Admission Details

Admissions to all B.Tech programs are made through Jharkhand Combined Entrance Competitive Examination (JCECE) conducted by JCECE Board constituted by Govt of Jharkhand. Lateral entry to diploma holders in engineering and technology is made in the 3rd semester through competitive examination conducted separately for them. The number of seats through lateral entry in all branches are 10% of the normal seats.

College Infrastructure

Quite pretty infrastructure . Our college has a neat and clean campus our campus has a very greenery in nature. Our college has so much facility like auditorium, lecture hall,play gound, seven lakes and they all are renovating and newly made.

Experiences are very excited and excellent and expensive

College Infrastructure

BIT SINDRI , Birsa Institute of Technology is established in 1949 is one of the oldest state government college of Jharkhand. It's infrastructure is well but old. There are few modifications are being seen recently like nee hostels are being build in a modern look, cafeteria of our College is well maintained and has modern look.

Overall it's a good college.

College Infrastructure

Bit sindri is established in 1949 .it has large campus area of 400 acres .it's infrastructure is desent but can be improved. All departments are well maintained and structured. There are two play grounds for sports.
