Bachelor of Technology in Electronics and Communication Engineering is a four-year full-time course offered by Jharkhand University of Technology, Ranchi and approved by All India Council for Technical Education.

Eligibility Criteria

Applicant must have passed I.Sc. / 10+2 or equivalent examination with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subject along with one of the Chemistry/Biotechnology / Biology / Technical Vocational subject and He/She has obtained at least 45% marks (40% in case of candidate belonging to reserved category) in the above subjects taken together. [I.Sc. / 10+2 or equivalent examination appearing candidate may also apply but he/she will have to pass before the date of Counselling.

Admission Details

Admissions to all B.Tech programs are made through Jharkhand Combined Entrance Competitive Examination (JCECE) conducted by JCECE Board constituted by Govt of Jharkhand. Lateral entry to diploma holders in engineering and technology is made in the 3rd semester through competitive examination conducted separately for them. The number of seats through lateral entry in all branches are 10% of the normal seats.

College Infrastructure

The college has old infrastructure. It was established in 1949. The college has 10 departments and one lecture hall and a library and also contains about 30 hostels. Structure of building is old. College contains a cafeteria which is well maintained as it newly built.

BIT sindari is recommended to all .

College Infrastructure

Infrastructure of BIT Sindri is good.It has a central library which has abundance of good books for all subjects of engineering. All the labs are also very well equipped with equipments.It also has a canteen and sbi bank.

College Infrastructure

The infrastructure is not upto the mark but the labs are modern and the technology is new. The library is also the biggest one in the town. We have a large variety of books available . Cafeteria is newly made Not fantastic but u can chill out with our famous tandoori chai.
