Bachelor of Technology in Mechanical Engineering is a four-year full-time course offered by Jharkhand University of Technology, Ranchi and approved by All India Council for Technical Education.

Eligibility Criteria

Applicant must have passed I.Sc. / 10+2 or equivalent examination with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subject along with one of the Chemistry/Biotechnology / Biology / Technical Vocational subject and He/She has obtained at least 45% marks (40% in case of candidate belonging to reserved category) in the above subjects taken together. [I.Sc. / 10+2 or equivalent examination appearing candidate may also apply but he/she will have to pass before the date of Counselling.

Admission Details

Admissions to all B.Tech programs are made through Jharkhand Combined Entrance Competitive Examination (JCECE) conducted by JCECE Board constituted by Govt of Jharkhand. Lateral entry to diploma holders in engineering and technology is made in the 3rd semester through competitive examination conducted separately for them. The number of seats through lateral entry in all branches are 10% of the normal seats.

College Infrastructure

This college has a decent infrastructure that fulfills most of the academic requirements of students . Wi-Fi connectivity is available across major areas of the campus which allows student to access online learning materials .

Over all my experience in the college was very good .

College Infrastructure

The college infrastructure is very nice the college is spread across 400 acres and there is new infrastructure and buildings being made in the college additionally the college received lot of funding recently for development of more infrastructure.

Value for Money, and balance in all aspects

College Infrastructure

Good infrastructure, since the college is old. The class rooms have smart boards, Labs are equiped with the required instruments, central library has all the books that is reuired for acdemic study and even books for CAT Gate GMAT are also avl.
