Bachelor of Technology in Mechanical Engineering is a four-year full-time course offered by Jharkhand University of Technology, Ranchi and approved by All India Council for Technical Education.

Eligibility Criteria

Applicant must have passed I.Sc. / 10+2 or equivalent examination with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subject along with one of the Chemistry/Biotechnology / Biology / Technical Vocational subject and He/She has obtained at least 45% marks (40% in case of candidate belonging to reserved category) in the above subjects taken together. [I.Sc. / 10+2 or equivalent examination appearing candidate may also apply but he/she will have to pass before the date of Counselling.

Admission Details

Admissions to all B.Tech programs are made through Jharkhand Combined Entrance Competitive Examination (JCECE) conducted by JCECE Board constituted by Govt of Jharkhand. Lateral entry to diploma holders in engineering and technology is made in the 3rd semester through competitive examination conducted separately for them. The number of seats through lateral entry in all branches are 10% of the normal seats.

College Infrastructure

Yes our college have all the necessary infrastructure and facilities like we have well equipped classroom with smart boards, a central library with all the books, good sports facilities like here sports club conduct different events and championship in cricket, football, volleyball. The hostels have water facility and food is hygienic.

Overall good experiences.

The college have available all nessury infrastructure related to Lab and laboratory and their is also available Central library where is thousand of book available related to course and also indoor and outdoor activities center available

It's was pretty good journey with ups and downs

College Infrastructure

BIT Sindri's infrastructure is functional but has room for improvement. Basic facilities are available, including a resourceful library, though some areas like computer labs could be updated. The campus grounds are spacious, and sports facilities are adequate. Hostel accommodation and cafeteria are average. Overall, a decent environment for learning.
