Bachelor of Technology in Computer Science and Engineering is a four-year full-time course offered by Jharkhand University of Technology, Ranchi and approved by All India Council for Technical Education.

Eligibility Criteria

Applicant must have passed I.Sc. / 10+2 or equivalent examination with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subject along with one of the Chemistry/Biotechnology / Biology / Technical Vocational subject and He/She has obtained at least 45% marks (40% in case of candidate belonging to reserved category) in the above subjects taken together. [I.Sc. / 10+2 or equivalent examination appearing candidate may also apply but he/she will have to pass before the date of Counselling

Admission Details

Admissions to all B.Tech programs are made through Jharkhand Combined Entrance Competitive Examination (JCECE) conducted by JCECE Board constituted by Govt of Jharkhand. Lateral entry to diploma holders in engineering and technology is made in the 3rd semester through competitive examination conducted separately for them. The number of seats through lateral entry in all branches are 10% of the normal seats.

College Infrastructure

Spacious and green campus with well-equipped labs, a rich library, comfortable hostels, sports facilities, and essential amenities. Its infrastructure effectively supports academics, research, and overall student development.

I overall has loved the college and the environment here.

College Infrastructure

I love the environment here and the people. They are very friendly and enjoying and I love how everyone is supportive and encouraging. The college was established in 1949 so it has old infrastructure.

I would highly recommend students to consider this college.

College Infrastructure

BIT sindri is spread across most of the sindri area and has a large campus. It has about 28-30 hostels for boys and girls. Each department has their own building with proper labs and infrastructure. We have an auditorium called Despande auditorium and technology park along with library and big sitting areas. The mess food in BIT is famous and it is very balanced, tasty and hygienic.
