So you probably are reading this review because you didn't make into IITs or NITs which you dreamed about. Now getting to the point how good HMRITM is as compared to other colleges in GGSIPU or some private institution in Delhi NCR. The answer is it's good. You don't get a good infrastructure here, no hostel. But HMRITM prepares you for the afterworld (here afterworld refers to the professional life after B.Tech). You will get many Value Added Programs (VAPs) here at HMRITM which is extremely important from the job perspective. Even non-CS/IT students are made to learn python language which again is very good thing judging by the current industry demand. Placements are fine. If you are a good student you will definitely get placed. Prominent recruiters here are Infosys & CSC. The college has a good bus facility for all the students at Rs.26000 per year. The faculty is nice. College is strict on attendance.

College is the platform that not only guides you professionally but also prepares you for your life ahead. HMRITM is one college that successfully provides the best of both the worlds. The industrial exposure, the practical trainings, theoritical knowledge, cultural activities- all of this is successfully fulfilled at HMRITM. The issue of commutation is also solved by the college as you are provided with bus facilities.

A Life to Remember

College life- a period where I met gems who not only provide a helping hand but also stood with me at every step. From theoretical knowledge to practical experience all came along with buddies who are a part of my joyful life. As a Student Placement coordinator, I learned key features to live and grow in the fable world along with the burden of responsibilities. Flexible schedule and thorough guidance of faculty were fruitful enough to maintain the GPA. Infrastructure and road to college aren't up to the mark. Rest life is amazing because of amazing people and not by the facilities. You create your own atmosphere and go through all the obstacles if the right person is with you.

Before I state the positive & negatives of this college, I would first like tell you a fact that, in the end, all the colleges of GGSIPU from MAIT to HMR are same. After completion of the course I found that my friends at MAIT were exactly the same position as me, In fact, I was better than some of them. Infrastructure: Ok honestly, it's not good (as compared to other colleges). But you get all the lab equipment here. Location: It's very far away in a village in Delhi, which is a good point actually because it's gonna train you for traveling for the rest of your life. And if you can't do it, you can get transport facility offered by the college at Rs.26000 for one year (including end sem examinations where you have to go to any other college). Faculty: You will be taught rigorously entire the semester so you cannot blame faculty for anything. Remember attendance norms are strictly followed so teachers will teach you each and everything in the syllabus. VAP(Value added programs): Every year you will get a chance to learn a new course in the college itself (e.g. Python, Matlab, Embedded etc) which really helps for placements. Industry exposure: every year you will visit at least one industry. Placement: If you are worth it, be rest assured, you will be placed in a good company (might not be a core, will be an IT comp). They train you well for placements and have transparency in the system. They regularly send you emails regarding placements. Overall, Placements are good. Verdict: If yo want to take admission in GGSIPU and HMR is the only choice, go for it. The only thing tough is traveling rest everything is same as other colleges, or even better. So go for it, you will be successful one day. :)

College life is that time of your life in which you create yourself better for the rest of your life. And for this, faculty plays an important role ,and this role is successfully played by HMRITM faculty. Placement of college shows its success and it is pretty good in HMRITM. HMRITM provides transport facility to their students for commutation.
