MAIT can be considered the best place for non-qualifiers of jee mains or advance. This is a college with moderately good infrastructure, faculty, placements etc. The campus area is about 40.5 acres which comprises of 9 blocks for various departments, Main Auditorium, Mini Auditorium, Playground, Badminton Court etc. There are 3 canteens and 2 stationery shops. We have very friendly and competitive environment. Our college won first prize in SIH 2018 and e-Yantra Robotics Competition this year. It has been awarded National Employability Award 2018. MAITians are rocking! :D

At MAIT, you'll most likely never find any teacher absent and every single teacher has a great knowledge of his or her subject. Thus, full marks for the faculty. There's no strictness in terms of attendance so you can get involved in anything constructive at the college or at home if you want to. The problem with MAIT is its societies. They aren't funded very well or for that matter even supported by the college much. There is a similar problem faced for the Cultural Fest of MAIT. Campus Facilities The faculty is good and regular. Campus Life Departmental societies, as well as cultural societies, need improvement, funding and support. Jobs & Internships Most of the companies that come for recruitment here are IT companies. Thus, there isn't much help for other core branches.

The infrastructure of college is really nice, people are quite friendly as well. The faculty is nice, helpful, knowledgeable and is strict about it's classes, you may take that as a nice thing or as a bad thing but the fact is that you have to study somewhere either at college or in tutions outside college and why to spend extra bucks for the thing you get in your college fee. The thing I love the most about my college is it's timetable! It's flawless! All my classes are over by 1:30 and that gives me the time to attend coachings for extra courses or further studies.

The college building is pretty impressive and has one of a kind infrastructure. The stereotype red brick building has a neat and clean campus and filled with hundreds of students due to the number of courses offered. The classrooms are not air conditioned but have comfortable benches. The library is well equipped with books available in abundance. The teaching department at Maharaja Agrasen Institute of Technology (MAIT) is excellent and quite experienced. Most of them have thorough knowledge about their respective topics and have years of teaching experience. The faculty for Fluid Mechanics in the Engineering Department are very good but agedAttendance is pretty strict during the first year of engineering but second year onwards students get an idea about all the teachers and their attendance patternAs Maharaja Agrasen Institute of Technology (MAIT) is affiliated to the Indraprastha University (IPU), most of the crowd is from Delhi and other parts of the NCR. The food served in the canteen is pretty edible though the prices are a bit on the higher side. There is a decent variety in the menu and students prefer both packed and freshly prepared food. Companies like Honda and Mahindra are the regular recruiters for the core branches during the placement season. Accenture, Infosys, Wipro, and many more software companies recruit students from CS and IT and offer a pay packager around 4 lakhs per annum. The placements for Computers and IT are almost 100% while it’s roughly around 70% for the core branches.

The college takes students on the basis of merit through GGSIPU entrance and to get into MAIT one needs to get a very high rank. Considering the fee, it is economical as well as one would spend around Rs.4 Lakhs for the entire course and it’s worth every penny. It is one of the top colleges on Delhi. It has excellent infrastructure, ground and number of events keep on happening in and around campus which helps a student to groom himself. The crowd is very good considering people have to get good rank while some pay around Rs.18 lakhs to get into this college through management quota which is through indirect means. Coming to placements which are very good as compared to other colleges. For CS average is around Rs.6-7 Lakh p.a. which is pretty good. So I would recommend you to take admission here only if you couldn't get IIT, good NITs, DTU, BITS, NSIT, DAIICT, MIT Pune etc. The infrastructure of MAIT is by far the best as compared to the rest of the college’s affiliated to IP University. The location of the college may not be a plus but tell me which other IP college is located at a prime location. Transport arrangement from nearest metro station ( Rithala metro) is okay. Fresher’s need not worry about ragging (0% based on my experience).Attendance no bar (I have literally seen students having 13% attendance in the entire semester) but higher attendance will reflect higher grades. You can only visit an eating joint (WTF) and a pool centre situated opposite to the college. Classrooms are spacious and teachers are friendly and not that strict.

The administrative department of the college is a nightmare . You'd realise when you face these guys ! And how can you forget Dr ******* .. name's enough . There are handful of teachers who would make an effort to understand you , rest suffer from 'wedontgiveafuck' syndrome. The college fest is bad big time . Nothing special about it . If you are able to find like minded people asap , then you'd get used to this shitty place fast . BVP is way better than MAIT ! I hope this review saves some lives from getting destroyed . P.S : The view's represented are only about MAIT and not MAIMS .

Best IPU college

There are a total 0f 9 blocks, 7 of which are for MAIT and 2 are for MAIMS(management) and an administration block.. There is an on campus boy's hostel, a sports ground, badminton court, 2 auditoriums, one main canteen and one back canteen. The college infrastructure is pretty good but the college doesn't make use of it to its full extent (The director does not allow students to organize events in the Main Auditorium; Students are often not allowed to play in the sports field; The Library doesn't store books to it's full capacity, etc.) The faculty is pretty good and helpful, provided that the student is willing to learn. What I have learnt in my 1.5 years in this college is that you don't really need to be a genius or study regularly to score well in the exams. You can score good marks if you start studying two weeks before the end sems and 4 or 5 days before the sessionals. The pattern of the paper keeps on changing so you can't really rely on the previous year papers all the time.

Maharaja Agrasen Institute of Technology (MAIT) is definitely a good choice for studious chaps. Location and Hangouts are a drawback so watch out for that. Teachers are strict as well. But overall, the placements, crowd and the reputation has the legacy going. One needs a very good rank to get in this college.

MAIT, Rohini is a great college with the only drawback of being a bit towards outskirts of the main city. Infrastructure is great and all buildings are rather new and modern. Faculty is regular and quite educated. Attendance is never an issue which is quite a relief for nearly all students. Auditorium is rather grand and unlike what is seen in regular engineering colleges.

The college is just above the private colleges which lie on the outskirts of Delhi. It is far behind the IIT NITs or the IIITs . But if you want to excel here you have to work hard and put in all your efforts. Just scoring good marks or mugging before the exam wont fetch you a nice package . but if you are hardworking then surely you will be successfull

I had an amazing life in college

Hey there, I'm a pre-medical student at Bard college completing a degree in biology. I almost transferred out freshman year, and so glad I didn't. The sciences here are *incredible.* Friends who have gone to more 'prestigious' institutions (Emory, U of R, RIT) come by, see the labs that we work in starting freshman year and take a look at our senior thesis posters, and a number have said how much they wished they knew Bard had a strong science program. Our faculty... is truly exceptional. My advisor gives me a lot of attention and guidance, and having an opportunity to spend an hour or more a week 1:1 with a PhD who is helping you craft a strong senior thesis is very special to this college. Sure, it's a hallmark of liberal arts institutions to have senior projects, but with the strength of the Bard faculty, the true caring that each of them has for their students, I couldn't recommend this school more highly for any student who is serious about their education. What you might have heard about Bard being a 'hippy colony' is plain and simple not true anymore. The sciences are filled with very, very bright ambitious people that I've really enjoyed taking classes with for the past few years. I came into Bard 100% pro science, but by exploring some of the humanities offering will be graduating with: 1. an acceptance to medical school in hand, 2. a high quality degree, and 3. a lifelong passion for classical literature, poetry, art and music.

Currently, I am in my 4th semester and pursuing B.Tech in CSE from this college. The college is located in a pretty isolated area with only a few places to hangout or eat nearby. The saving grace is that the Rithala metro station is located just 6 km away from the college which makes connectivity possible for students coming from far away. There are a total 0f 9 blocks, 7 of which are for MAIT and 2 are for MAIMS(management) and an administration block. There is an on campus boy's hostel, a sports ground, badminton court, 2 auditoriums, one main canteen and one back canteen. The college infrastructure is pretty good but the college doesn't make use of it to its full extent (The director does not allow students to organize events in the Main Auditorium; Students are often not allowed to play on the sports field; The Library doesn't store books to it's full capacity, etc.) The faculty is pretty good and helpful, provided that the student is willing to learn. You can score good marks if you start studying two weeks before the end sems and 4 or 5 days before the sessionals. The pattern of the paper keeps on changing so you can't really rely on the previous year papers all the time. There are a few societies which are active (Aayaam :the Dramatics Society; Aura : The Western Dance society) Besides this, the college is not very culturally active (No official freshers, no inter-college technical competitions or sports tournaments) It's safe to say that Fest is the biggest event of the year (which is also not THAT good :P) The college crowd is pretty decent as compared to other IP colleges but obviously not that great as compared to DU. Placement is average. Infosys and Accenture are the mass recruiters and offer a maximum of 3.2 lakhs p.a.

The best i could get in my rank

MAIT is the best technical college which I could get at the rank of 4000 in IP university. It is a great college. The faculty of the college is a balance of new visiting faculty and of the old, experienced and permanent faculty. This balance aids our learning as the experienced faculty knows what all is important from examination as well as interview’s point. But the new visiting teachers have a more indulging and flexible way of teaching. So it keeps the system balanced. But what I don’t like is that we have boys hostel in campus but the not for girls. Having your hostel in the campus makes life easier and a lot more fun. But still it is not that bad either. Our hostel is located just 2 km away from the campus. It is a private hostel for the girls of maharaja agrasen college only. So overall it is a fine experience to be a part of this institution.
