I'm studying BBA because I'm interested in management and business skills. The teaching quality is good, with supportive faculty and practical learning. The curriculum is updated and industry-focused.
The academic environment at MAIT is generally rigorous. Many professors, especially the senior faculty, are highly experienced and knowledgeable in their respective fields, offering good theoretical depth. However, the curriculum, which is mandated by the affiliating university, can sometimes feel outdated compared to the rapid pace of industry changes, and the focus is heavily on rote learning for semester exams rather than practical, application-based knowledge. Student-teacher interaction is good in smaller tutorial groups, and most faculty members are approachable for doubts. The exam schedule is strict, maintaining a high standard of academic discipline.
Academics at MAIT are generally regarded as strong , especially in branches like cse,it ece and mechanical engineering. the faculty is a mix of experienced professors and younger lecturers which creates a methods. Many professors hold PhDs and have several years of teaching experience, which reflects in their depth of subject knowledge. However, teaching quality can vary from department to department and even from teacher to teacher, which is common in most engineering colleges. The curriculum follows the structure provided by Guru Govind Singh Indrapastha University(GGSIPU). While the syllabus may not always be the most cutting-edge, MAIT tries to compensate with additional practical sessions, workshops, and seminars conducted by industry professionals. Coding culture has grown strongly in recent years, with active societies conducting hackathons, coding contests, and peer-learning sessions. Students who take initiative often benefit a lot from these communities.
Hello Yash
With a rank of 2376 and being an Outside Delhi candidate, it is great that you got MAIT in the 1st spot round.
Getting VIPS in 2nd spot round would be tough but it ain't impossible. Although in IPU, 85% seats are reserved for Delhi candidates, your rank
With a CRL (Common Rank List) of 1 lakh 15 thousand, getting Computer Science Engineering (CSE) in MAIT or MSIT is unlikely, especially in the initial rounds of counseling for non-Delhi students. However, there might be a chance in the spot round, particularly if you are open to the evening
Hello Aanya
Both USAR and MAIT Delhi are commendable & reputed institutes.
Although new, USAR is a government institute.
Although private, MAIT is 20+ years old institute.
I would still prefer MAIT CSE over USAR as MAIT is reliable and USAR is a newer institute. My many friends study in
