Maharaja Surajmal Institute of Technology, Delhi was established in the year 2001. The institute is also known as MSIT Delhi. It was established with the approval of AICTE and was affiliated to the Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University. MSIT Delhi is a private institute. MSIT Delhi Clubs, Committees and Societies

Entrepreneurship Cell- This cell is a student-led project to create an open forum for entrepreneurial minds to learn about entrepreneurship, startups, and enterprises. Through meetups and workshops, it offers various possibilities to contact notable and known persons in the field of entrepreneurship.

Innovation Cell- This cell organises activities such as interactions with entrepreneurs and investors to build a mentor pool for student innovators, conducts MIC-mandated innovation and entrepreneurship activities, organizes quizzes, hackathons, idea competitions, and other events with the involvement of industries, and expands networks with various industrial organisations.

TechSoc- TechSoc is the technical society of MSIT Delhi. It hosts a variety of events, including speaker sessions, technical seminars, and hands-on workshops on a variety of topics.

Octave- MSIT's music club is called Octave. It conducts musical performances both within and outside of the campus. It participates in a variety of events on behalf of the college.

Aarambh- It is MSIT's dramatics society. In the varsity, it performs plays, skits, nukkad nataks, and dramas. It also acts as a representative of the college in a variety of dramatic events.

Astitva- It is the MSIT dance society. It conducts a variety of dance performances at the campus. It participates in a variety of events on behalf of the college.

UBA Cell- The Unnat Bharat Abhiyan Cell of MSIT is committed to solving the problems faced by the residents of five villages adopted by MSIT by suggesting innovative solutions. It does so by conducting surveys in the villages it has adopted, identifying local concerns and issues, and developing village development plans.

MSIT Delhi Facilities and Infrastructure

MSIT Delhi provides various facilities to the students and staff. The classrooms are fitted with audio-video equipment. There are laboratories for each department for good practical learning. There are six computer labs with high-speed internet access. The library is well-stocked and fully computerised. Hostel facility is available for both boys and girls. The indoor and outdoor sports facility is also available. Adequate medical facilities are also available in the institute. High-speed internet and Wi-Fi connectivity are also there in the institute. Admission to the MSIT Delhi B.Tech programme is done on the basis of the candidate's performance in JEE Main Paper-1. Amount of scholarship that is a tuition fee of Rs. 30,000 or at actual, whichever is less and Rs.2000 per month for 10 months as incidentals charges each year.

This scholarship is for differently-abled students who have a disability of not less than 40%.

Candidates must be admitted to diploma/degree courses at an AICTE recognised institution.

The annual income of the family should be less than Rs.8 Lakhs per annum.

AICTE Pragati Scholarship for Girls

Amount of scholarship that is a tuition fee of Rs. 30,000 or at actual, whichever is less and Rs. 2,000 per month for 10 months as incidentals each year.

This scholarship is for girl candidates who have taken admission to the diploma/degree course at AICTE approved institution/college.

The annual income of the family should not be more than Rs.8 Lakhs.

Up to two girls per family can apply for the scholarship.
