The college infrastructure is quite average and needs a lot of improvement. Buildings look old and a lot of things are poorly maintained. Labs don't have enough equipment, so practicals feel incomplete.
Academics are pretty good here. The teachers are supportive and quite knowledgeable. The course content is well-structured and the teachers do explain each and every concept very well. The faculty here are very helpful and even guide us very well.
Placements are quite good in this college. Many companies do visit in this college. The students who have good skills get easily placed in good companies. The placement cell is also supportive and helpful.
The college is mostly worth the fees you pay. You get the good academics here, helpful and knowledgeable staff, and decent placements here. Overall, it feels like you have done a fair investment for your future.
Campus life is okay but not very exciting. There are some activities, events that take place, but not very often. The campus life could be much better with students actively participating in the activities and events taking place.
College infra is around 8 acres. The campus includes spacious classrooms .A central library with wide collection of books and digital sources . Institution also offers various students facilities such as hostels, canteens .
Academics mainly focused on providing quality education through a balanced mix of knowledge and practical exposure . The curriculum is well structured and updated regularly to meet industry standards
The placement team maintains strong connection with various companies industries to ensure wide range of job openings for students. Regular training program such as group discussion communication skills
The college offers good value for money as the quality of education , infrastructure and student facilities provided is justified by fee structure students have access to many equipments such as library
Campus life in college is vibrant friendly and full of opportunities for students to grow both academically and personally the atmosphere on campus encourages interaction , teamwork and creativity amd clubs
Its a decent college in terms of infrastructure and has all the basic facilities which a student requires. The college also provides some sports facilities. The campus size is not very big but it is decent to hangout.
Academics here is good, and the faculty has a good knowledge of their subject and their teaching methods are also good. Teachers also use labs to give students practical knowledge and to give them experience of real life.
Placements here are good in terms of ROI as the fees here is 6 lakhs for 4 years and the average package here is 5-6 LPA with highest package being 50 LPA(off-campus), 15LPA(on-campus), so if you have good skills, you'll surely grab a good package.
It is very good in terms of value for money as the fees here is very low compared to other colleges and private universities, and it provides a good placement also to students with good skills.
campus life is good, but the campus size is small. crowd here is also good and the college is situated in Janakpuri which is a good place, and you can find good hangout spots and places to chill with friends.
The infrastructure of MSIT is decent but of old style and built. The campus area is pretty small of 8 acres and doesn't have any type of extra curricular facility as well, the classes are Non-AC and have that old styled benches in the classes. Although there's a common ground for all the sports activities like cricket, football, sports meet, etc There is one auditorium as well which is of decent seating capacity but that too of non-AC type. Overall you can expect all the basic needs like separate lifts for teachers and students which is very useful for classes at 6th floor in 1st year, laboratories of every subject if needed, small canteen but not the advance facilities at all. Don't expect to get wifi in college except the library area. One good thing is that both boys and girls hostel are within campus area but hostels are very congested and mess food is also not that good. The rooms are pretty small after accommodation of two students in a room.
The college is pretty strict towards the academics yet easy to score decent to good CGPA. The college is very perticular about somethings and one of that is academics, the curriculum is of course old style consisting of subjects which has no relation with CSE branch but you have to study them. Yes, they do teach you languages for coding but you can't rely on that only. Otheriwse, subjects like physics, mathematics are finely structured regarding to the need of todays era.
The placements are decent averaged of 8lpa, but if you want to get a good package in double digits then you should definitely try off campus as well. companies visiting the campus gives package in double digits to very less students of high calibre, but the seniors are very good in their field and are exploring different opportunities in tech space, there's a lot to learn from your seniors if you get good connection with them, all the good seniors mostly go off campus to a startup company which gives good package if you have knowledge of DSA, full stack and AI
Total fees of the college including hostel sums up to around 10 lpa and in this fees, you can definitely get 15+lpa jobs if you try and get best in your department, get in touch with good seniors, getting around 9 CGPA, working on your skills of coding or any other department which you are in.
There's barely a campus life as you can't stay back after 4-5 pm, yes festivals like navratri, diwali is celebrated in the campus which you can enjoy with your friends for sure but that once in 2-3 months, on daily basis you can't do much in the campus. Yes, hostel students can walk in campus till 9 pm, can play badminton but not the day scholars or pg students. teachers are good, they will give you marks in internals without much effort, just make sure to be in their eyes and they remember you by your face or name. the locations is very good, its near janakpuri east metro station, situated whole between market and residence. no issue of safety at all and there's a police station as well near the college only
MSIT offers a compact yet well-designed campus with all essential facilities. The classrooms are equipped, labs are modern, and the library is resourceful. While not very large, the environment is clean, organized, and efficient.
MSIT maintains strong academics with a well-structured curriculum and dedicated faculty who simplify complex concepts. The teaching quality is consistent, assessments are fair, and students get ample guidance. With good support and learning resources. Books are provided by the college.
MSIT’s placement record is consistently good, with many reputable companies visiting and offering competitive packages. Training and guidance help students prepare well. While there's room for growth.
MSIT provides excellent value for money with affordable fees and solid academic quality. Students get good facilities, helpful faculty, and numerous learning opportunities. Considering the returns in skills, exposure, and outcomes.
MSIT offers an engaging campus life with active societies, frequent events, and a friendly student community. While the campus is not huge, the atmosphere is lively and supportive. Extracurricular opportunities are plenty.
the college infrastructure is decent with basic facilities like classrooms, labs and library but many areas still need maintenance and modernization. the wifi speed and cleanliness need some attention.
the academics at the college are good with a structured curriculum and supportive faculty who explain each and every concept very clearly. overall, the academics are good but can be updated with some modern approaches.
the placement opportunities are good here in the college with a few good companies visiting the campus each year but the overall number of recruiters are limited. students with strong and good skills get better opportunities. the placement cell is also good.
the college is okay for the amount you pay, but it does not fully worth it. academics are good but things like placements, campus life, and facilities could be much better for the fees charged. with improved infrastructure and opportunities, it would feel more worth the cost.
campus life is quite average, with limited number of events and fewer engaging activities for students. social interaction is good, and the clubs or societies activation is decent. overall the environment is good but could be more vibrant and enjoyable.
The college infrastructure is awesome and it is filled with greenery everywhere. The labs have all the necessary facilities for the experiments and the equipments are of great quality. Everything is great.
The faculty is really helpful with academics and they keep on guiding us regarding the internship and placements. All the professors support extra curricular activities along with academics like encouraging participation in various competitions.
On campus placements are good and majority of the students get placed in great companies with awesome packages . We are also provided with internship opportunities from 2nd year onwards. The placement cell is of great help.
This college is definitely worth for money . The reputation of this college is great this providing best facilities and on campus placements are guaranteed.
The fests are really wholesome and full of exciting stalls.
The college infrastructure is decent and it has all the basic facilities which a student require. Classroom can be better if they get fully air conditioned, and if they add some more sports facilities.
Academics here are also good. The college is affilated to GGSIPU (Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University). We can also opt for minor specialisation in our 5th sem and the faculty here is very supportive and they have good knowledge of their subject.
Placements here are very good in terms of ROI(Return on investment) as the fees here is around 5.5 lakhs-6 lakhs (4 years). The average package is around 5-6LPA and the highest is around 50 LPA, so anyone can expect a good package if they work on their skills.
The college is very good in terms of value for money, as we get a degree from GGSIPU, and the placements here are also good, and a skillfull student can grap a very good on-campus placement and students have also got 1Cr package off--campus.
Campus life here is good, although the campus size is small, but the crowd here is good and the location (Janakpuri) is very good and safe for everyone and we have very good chill spots here to hangout with friends.
Poor Infrastructure. No Air conditioner facility available except for 1st year that too in bad condition. There is seperate lift for staff and students, but they close student lift early. Also there is only one lift that too with small capacity compare to number of students its seems not enough honestly. Washroom condition also not so gfod
The academics in Maharaja Surajmal Institute is overall good but not perfect. Teachers are knowledgeable but few of them don’t explain things in proper way, so sometimes students get confuse. Notes and PPTs are provided but many times they are outdated or not very clear. Some teachers are really supportive and help a lot, while some just finish syllabus fast without caring much.
Placements in Maharaja Surajmal Institute are decent but not super great. Some good companies comes every year but number of offers is not very high for all students. Mostly average packages are given and only few students get really high package. You need to prepare on your own also because college support is there but not very strong for everyone. Placement cell tries their best but sometimes information comes late and students get confused. Overall placements are okay, not bad but also not something very outstanding.
Value for money of Maharaja Surajmal Institute is pretty okay. The fees is little high but compared to other private colleges it still feels reasonable. You do get good environment, decent teachers and proper facilities, but sometimes it feels like the services you get are not fully worth the price. If they improve placements and fix some basic issues, then the college will feel more worth the money. Overall it's not perfect, but still better than many other options in same range.
Campus life in Maharaja Surajmal Institute is quite good and chill most of the time. Students are friendly and there’s always some event or activity happening, but not every department participates properly. Fests are fun but sometimes management is a bit messy. The campus is small but still feels lively because people hangout near canteen and garden area. Clubs are there but some are not very active and work only during fest season. Overall campus life is enjoyable, not too strict, and you can make good friends and memories here.
Overall, Maharaja Surajmal Institute is a decent college with good infrastructure, okay academics, and an active campus life. Classrooms, library and labs are fine but some basic things like AC, WiFi and slow computers still cause issues. Academics is good but depends a lot on which teacher you get, and sometimes notes are outdated. Placements are average — some good companies come but not everyone gets high packages.
The infrastructure of Maharaja Surajmal Institute is kind of good but also have some issues. Classrooms are fine but some projectors not work properly and AC also not working many times. Library is nice and silent but WiFi keep disconnecting again and again. Labs are ok but many computers hangs and it waste time in practicals. Canteen looks clean but food is just average only. Overall infrastructure is decent but they really need to fix basic things.

One more thing I would like to add is that the overall vibe of the college is positive, but sometimes management feels little slow in solving students problems. Still, if you stay active and take part in things, you will have a good experience. College has potential to be even better if they improve small issues, but overall it's a decent place to study and grow.

yes, it’s a decent choice, especially if you're focused and ready to work on your skills. The college has a good academic environment, and ECE is a versatile branch that can open opportunities in both core and software fields. Placement-wise, MSIT has decent companies visiting, especially for CSE or IT, but even ECE students can get into good tech roles if they build coding skills alongside. If you’re planning for higher studies, government exams, or shifting towards tech roles, then ECE from MSIT can definitely be worth it with the right effort.
With a CRL (Common Rank List) of 1 lakh 15 thousand, getting Computer Science Engineering (CSE) in MAIT or MSIT is unlikely, especially in the initial rounds of counseling for non-Delhi students. However, there might be a chance in the spot round, particularly if you are open to the evening shift or IT branch.
You should participate in all rounds of counseling, including the spot round, and fill in your choices carefully, prioritizing the evening shift or IT if necessary.
