Students Review for HRMITM Delhi
meh
Verified ReviewBatch of 2028-01-01 B.Tech Computer Science and Engineering II Shift
HMR Institute of Technology and Management (HMRITM) has one of the worst placement records among colleges affiliated with GGSIPU. The placement rate is extremely low, and most students struggle to find decent job opportunities. The few companies that visit the campus offer very low salary packages, with the average package barely reaching around 3 LPA. High-paying or reputed companies rarely show up, and many students are left without any placement even after completing their course. The training and placement cell lacks efficiency, proper planning, and support for students. There’s very little effort put into preparing students for industry demands — no proper guidance, mock interviews, or skill development sessions. Many students end up applying off-campus, as the college’s placement support is almost non-existent. The infrastructure related to placements is also poorly managed, with limited company tie-ups and almost no industry exposure. Internships provided through the college are also scarce and often irrelevant to the students’ fields of study. Overall, if placements and future job opportunities are your priority, HMRITM is not the right choice. The lack of good recruiters, poor placement support, and weak industry connections make it a disappointing experience for students aiming for successful careers. 0/5 stars.

Batch of 2025-01-01 B.Tech Computer Science and Engineering II Shift
Placement I would rate 3/5 As most students got placed on campus with average income of 5-6 Lpa through our college Some used to get higher too like 15 Lpa or more but a short amount of students get that. 85% is the placement rate through college. We also have pool placements through GGSIPU dwarka Highest salary offered till today is 35 Lpa

Great teaching faculty
Verified ReviewAround 40 per cent of the batch gets placed every year, which is not soo good. The highest placement package offered was 12 LPA and the average package is 6 LPA , which is average for a CS student. The placement process was very smooth and students were made well aware in advance about all the stages . The college offered internships to help students gain practical experience about the functioning of job sector.

Hey Aman,
If you want to take a drop year and prepare for a better college or join any lower tier college this year is and should be entirely your decision and let no one else take this decision for you.
However, how others as well as me (here) can help you is provide you with the pros and cons of the dilemma you're undergoing.
Now, to begin with your JEE percentile might not allow you to take admission in any of the top-tier colleges.
TRUE , but unlike many other aspirants you are clear in your goals that you want to pursue a career in CSE.
Most of us prefer top tier colleges just to be around the best brains and majorly to develop a perspective in life which may not be the case with you. Also a good score in JEE will not get you anywhere in life other than a good college, wherein also, your efforts will build your future.
Also, I would like to add, in the software industry your skills are given more preference to the college you've done your graduation from and it often happens that students from a lower tier college ends up getting more paid.
This being said, it is also true, that a top tier college gives you peers being around whom helps you develop and hone your skills in a symbiotic manner and this makes you a better person in life. Not to forget the alumni network you become a part of, might also come in handy in several occasions.
Also resume shortlisting may have some effect over others (belonging from a lower tier college), but do remember its your skills that you develop in these 4 years or over time that will take you further in life.
Now, its entirely your decision what you want to do. You know yourself better than anyone else and therefore do retrospect and come out with the most logical decision you feel is correct.
All the best :)
Hi Candidate,
B.Tech counselling involves numerous rounds and hence the candidates are provided with the options of Slide/ Freeze/ Float so that to properly distribute and allot the seat among various categories and streams in various institutions.
Float option provides you the option of getting a better seat than the previously Alloted seat only incase, the Seats are available in Higher-ranked institutions. If you do not get any better seat, then you have to take admission only in the alloted seat.
Hope that this answer helps you.
WHICH out of amity university noida campus and HMRITM has better placement results in b.tech computer science and engineering.
According to my experience, all private
universities are same. Placement doesn't
matter on which University you are studying
If you have skills then no matter from where
you got your undergraduate degree,
company will hire you
But in my point of view, Amity University
will not offers good percentage of placements
and according to papers they have
placements. but Amity University is far
better than other private institutions.
So according to me you should go with Amity
University and placements will always
depend upon your capabilities. And all the
best for your future.
Hope it helps
