Dear Reader, The College is so great with respect to both Teaching as well as extracurricular activities. I want to state that the college premises is not so good but with the point of education, it's great. All Teachers here are so supportive in any field, if it is Research Paper Writing, Teaching after class hours, guiding for career line and much more. I am really proud to be in HMRITM since, it's not like IIT or NIT but yes, it's similar to those in terms of activities as well as Project Support.

Faculty, placement is all very good. While infrastructure needs improvement. The location of college is also not very nice. It is very difficult to come to college without college bus as the nearby metro station is Jahangir puri which is quite far away from the campus. The crowd of college is not so good but manageable. College provides more than 20 clg buses at every location of delhi so that it can be easy for the students. College also provides accomodation of buses to the examination centres at very distincts of delhi.

Insights into HMR INSTITUTE OF TECHNOLOGY AND MANAGEMENT

Location: College is located between farms. College buses are available to reach college but some drivers of buses are not cooperative. Infrastructure: College's infrastructure is quite good but needs some improvement. There are two grounds surrounded by the college building and one ground outside the building. Canteen and labs are average. Faculty: As per my experience, college faculty is not up to the mark. Some faculty members are very humble and helpful but some are not . Some of the professors have enough knowledge but sometimes they are unable to impart. Management: Management of this college is not that cooperative. Placement : Companies come to college for placement but it depends on you how much talented you are and your skills. In the end, I give 2.5/5 stars to this college.

Good College. Location is little far. Teachers and placement are good. But No hostel facility. No wifi. Extracurricular activities. Value-added programs in every semester. Workshops and seminars. The fee structure is not expensive. Good students. college is surrounded by industrial godowns and agricultural fields. Canteen is average. Buses are available to most of the places. good for public convenience also. Evert thing is normal, not bad not so good. The college has Elevator facility, emergency fire exits, and fire protection. Indoor games should be added like table tennis and Pool for enjoyment and free times. The college also must provide hostel facility.

HMRITM is affiliated to GGSIP University. The crowd is mainly from Delhi. The college is built in between the fields. Faculty is very helping, supportive and highly educated. Placements are average for non core branches and very less for core branches like EEE, ECE and ME. It ranks last in the list of colleges affiliated to IPU. Infrastructure is good. College should focus more on placments.

HMR college is affiliated to Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University. Most of the students are from Delhi since 70% seats are reserved for Delhite's. The college is situated outside Delhi near G.T road. The college has good infrastructure but is situated in between fields. The faculty is very helping and educated. No place to hangout with friends. The college has average placements. Fees is around 85k per year. Bus facility is also provided.

One of the best IPU college

The college is good in academics and management but lacks in extra curicular activities. The fee structure is expensive as it is a private collge so private colleges have more fee structure but this college have expensive becaue they are not providing all the facilities. There are not hotel facilites availabe in the college as there is a PG which is some distance apart from the college its a private not holded by the college. The exams are very hectic as they are always been a difficulty for us but labs are well maintained and all the instruments are in the working condion and techers give us brief knowledge about that experiment. Placement and jobs i talk about for my stream it is very less as mechanical sector has very little on campus placement but for other strems the placement is good recently there was drive in our college of campany INFOSYS.

Placements of college is quite good.

The placements for our seniors were quite good. About 85% of the students were placed. The highest salary was offered by Polaris of 5 lac rupees pa and the lowest was 3 lac rupees by TCS. The companies that visited our college were TCS, Fusion Charts, Polaris, Capgemini , Tech Mahindra, ITC Infotech and others. Infrastructure : The facilities provided in the campus are quite good. The labs are provided with up-to-date technology. The students are given a free Wi-Fi zone within the buildings. The sports and medical facilities are very nice. The college has library facilities with books on all topics along with a free internet zone for web browsing. The quality of the food is good and the prices are moderate. The canteen is clean and well-maintained. The hostel rooms are clean and the facilities provided are acceptable.

College is quite similar to school, back to back classes, arrangement periods are there if teacher is absent but one good thing is that 75% attendance is not actually needed! Approx 55-60 is ok. Location is a topics of concern for daily up down but there is sat off to balance our frustration. Some teachers are very good but most of the stude are those who are already placed by their contacts so they create troubles in spoiling the quality of lecture. Infra is not like SOTY or DU, its surrounded by farms. Please spare yourself from starting bad habbits like smoking here. Only IT companies come here that too give only 4-5lakh max (2.5 avg). Library is good. Labs are also good.

HMR is located outside Delhi. Most of the students join this college just because it is affiliated to IP university. It ranks last in the list of best colleges under IPU. Infrastructure is pretty good. No place nearby to hang out with friends. Greenery greenery everywhere. Very less companies visit the college for recruitment. Crowd is mostly from Delhi. Bus facility is provided. Faculty is supportive. My experience is not so good. Never go for this college. I would have given zero starts if possible... College has below poor management and facilities for outside students who come for semester exams. Many students including me lost their expensive mobile phones and wallets during the exams. Receptionist asked us not to bring the mobile phones after hearing the complains and told us it is not the responsibility of the college to handle the bags of students who come to their college for exams. If you want to travel a lot, spend a lot and get the degree get in. If you want sensible faculty, knowledge and save yourself from this then get out this is not the place you wanna get stuck with. Infra wise you will get your space, open cool lecture hall but no connectivity no mobile or internet. You can only access the internet from the lab that to with huge limitations you can't even download JDK. Faculty are like carry on what you're up to do whatever you want to just don't mess things up. They talk about project-based learning but they don't have faculties that understand technology even the very trending and common. Except for a few faculty rest are of no good they will only create confusion. Your friends will be your best faculty and this collage emphasize on collaborative learning. Cause they won't teach you a anything. And yes there is no Placement although there is a Placement cell. They claim to have Placement but it has got no efforts from their side. Conclusion kuch ni Mila toh le Lena.

My experience in this college has been wonderful. The faculty is very good. The curriculum is properly followed. Before taking admission here i thought college ratings doesnt matter, what matter is the course you get. but trust me college rating does. this college sucks in every aspect. Till last month we had one freedom to go home whenever want, now you just cant. We get locked like its a zoo. all these positive ratings are false. No wonder some ass lickers rated this college good for a couple of marks. no dtc service, no sports, no wifi, rare placement, dickhead faculties, and too many rules that i lost count. i repeat, do not take admission here or you will get stuck like all of us. Environment is getting worse every second day. p. s.. M not even some dumb student who got rage against faculties for poor marks..I amabout to finish my worst 4 years here, no backlogs and pretty decent aggregate. If u dont trust me, visit this shitty clg some day and ask some students yourself. You will know what i am talking about.

I got admission at HMR as I was not getting any better engineering college. This college is amazing in a way that one gets GGSIPU degree. Infrastructure is average - not really good, not bad either. Placements have been okay since 2010. As far as I know about 100-150 students have been getting placed on campus since then. Other do manage to get an off campus placement. The faculty is good with a mix of experienced and fresher faculty. IT labs are amazing. Infrastructure for sports/cultural activities is not really good.

The only reason I joined this college was because it was affiliated to GGSIPU. I won't recommend it to anyone unless he/she has no other option. Situated on the outskirts of Delhi near GT karnal road, the college doesn't even have a hostel which is a major turn off. Fortunately, the college has its own buses which ply almost all across Delhi. But still travelling 3-4 hours was tough. The faculty also isn't too great. They don't take any interest in the students and they just want to finish their lectures. Infrastructure wise the college has decent classrooms and labs but nothing else. No auditorium, no sports facilities. Placement wise during my time only Genpact(bpo) and Infosys came on campus. The majority of us had to look for jobs ourselves. But recently I have heard that the placement scenario has improved and more companies have started coming.

Engineering with a practical approach

So you probably are reading this review because you didn't make into IITs or NITs which you dreamed about. Now getting to the point how good HMRITM is as compared to other colleges in GGSIPU or some private institution in Delhi NCR. The answer is it's good. You don't get a good infrastructure here, no hostel. But HMRITM prepares you for the afterworld (here afterworld refers to the professional life after B.Tech). You will get many Value Added Programs (VAPs) here at HMRITM which is extremely important from the job perspective. Even non-CS/IT students are made to learn python language which again is very good thing judging by the current industry demand. Placements are fine. If you are a good student you will definitely get placed. Prominent recruiters here are Infosys & CSC. The college has a good bus facility for all the students at Rs.26000 per year. The faculty is nice. College is strict on attendance.

The college is located in outer circles of Delhi. And is 3 km from highway surrounded by warehouses and fields. The college is really strict in terms of attendance and discipline. And is continuously improving its image and other shortcomings. The crowd is decent from almost every part of Delhi. The faculty is from good to poor depends on individually. Almost all students are placed from last few years. College also provides fellowship programs in other countries in summers. And focuses on project-based learning and provides value-added programs for overall development of students

College is the platform that not only guides you professionally but also prepares you for your life ahead. HMRITM is one college that successfully provides the best of both the worlds. The industrial exposure, the practical trainings, theoritical knowledge, cultural activities- all of this is successfully fulfilled at HMRITM. The issue of commutation is also solved by the college as you are provided with bus facilities.
