Course Overview

NIELIT Gangtok offers this certificate program in the Internet of things (IoT) using Arduino With a hands-on approach to the Internet of Things concepts, the course has several modules with a total duration of 60 hours. In these modules, it covers content relating to the development of prototypes with devices used for activation, sensing, communication, and processing. It is designed to develop skills as well as experiences for the participants.

The course starts with an introduction to the Internet of Things and then progresses to the Arduino Uno simulation environment used in prototype building. The course covers the sensors and actuators required in detail for making interfacing with Arduino in the Internet of Things.

The course also discusses the basic networking and IoT protocols required. Apart from the protocols, the course also focuses on the cloud platforms which are beneficial for IoT. The course ends with students taking a project and upon successful completion will receive a certificate of completion.
