Candidates will have to appear for an entrance examination which is conducted by various universities. Students can also appear for some state level and national level entrance examinations.

    • Entrance: Candidates are shortlisted on the basis of the entrance examinations conducted by the different colleges and universities. To take admission in BVSC programme, Veterinary Council of India (VCI) conducts All India Common Entrance Exam (AICEE).

You already have your diploma, so it would be a four-year course for you. Training in exotic animal care, disease detection, nutrition, and animal husbandry is part of the B.V.Sc. and AH syllabus.

    Entrance Exams for BVSc: For admission to bachelor's programmes in veterinary sciences, the All India Pre Veterinary Test (AIPVT) was taken into consideration. NEET results are now taken into account for BVSc admission, though, as of 2017.
