The College of Veterinary and Animal Sciences, Latur is one of the very famous constituent colleges designed to provide education and pursue research activities in the subjects of veterinary sciences and was established in the year 1987. This premier institution is situated at Udgir in Maharashtra on an enormous sprawling campus of 823.225 acres. All the offered courses under different disciplines of veterinary sciences are approved by ICAR. The leading program that the college carries is the Bachelor of Veterinary Science and Animal Husbandry (B.V.Sc & A.H.), which is a six-year full-time course with 32 student intake annually. At the postgraduate level, the college offers courses in several M.V.Sc programs, including Veterinary Anatomy and Histology, Biochemistry, and Animal Nutrition, among several others. For advanced aspirants in this field of study, the Ph.D. program is offered with several specialties such as Veterinary Pathology and Veterinary Anatomy. 

The admission process at the College of Veterinary and Animal Sciences, Latur, is laid out to provide the facilities for selection of the ablest and most meritorious students for training in the veterinary sciences.
