Entrance Exams for General Medicine and Surgery
National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET)- National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET) is the main medical entrance examination which is accepted in mainly all the medical colleges in India. It was previously known as All India Pre-Medical Test (AIPMT).
Foreign Medical Graduates Examination (FMGE) – This entrance exam is conducted by the National Board of Education. Students who have pursued their medical education outside India and now wish to practice medicine here, need to qualify this examination. The duration of the exam is 5 hours, and it is conducted in English Language, twice a year.
AIIMS PG Entrance Exam: - This entrance exam is conducted by AIIMS Delhi. The exam is conducted to select students for admission into the Post Graduate courses offered at AIIMS. It is a national level exam which is conducted twice a year and the duration of the exam is 3 hours.
- PGIMER Entrance Exam: - This entrance exam is conducted by PGIMER Chandigarh for selecting suitable candidates for the various courses offered by the institute. The exam has a duration of 3 hours and is conducted in online mode, twice a year.
