The Maharashtra Council of Agricultural Education and Research (MCAER) Pune conducts its common entrance test (CET) for admission to various postgraduate programmes in the State Agricultural Universities (SAUs) across Maharashtra. The MCAER PGCET is an offline examination of two hours with 200 objective-type questions. The admission is granted on the basis of merit formulated by considering weightage of 70 per cent of the test score and 30 per cent of the CGPA of the candidate. The minimum cutoff score for MCAER Admission 2020 is of 55 per cent of total merit for postgraduate admission.

The admission to MCAER 2020 PG programmes is partially based on the candidates' undergraduate results and MCAER PG CET exam scores (for some courses). The basic eligibility criteria of MCAER PG CET 2020 exam is as the following -
Those students who have appeared for the final degree examination for the academic year 2019-20 are eligible to appear for the MCAER PG CET 2020.
Applicants will be eligible to take as many common entrance tests as per their eligibility for admission to a postgraduate programme. For example, a student of B.Sc. (Agricultural Biotechnology) can appear for entrance exams pertaining to M.Sc. (Agricultural Biotechnology), M.Sc. (Agriculture) and M.B.A. (Agriculture). However, they need to submit only one application form (a printout of online application) along with one challan common towards examination fees.
For multiple courses, candidates need to add the multiplied amount. In such cases, the aspirant will have to indicate other/additional options of subject streams (as per eligibility) in which the entrance test is to be appeared.

MCAER PG CET 2020 aspirants are required to fill the application form strictly in online mode. Candidates must ensure that they do not commit any mistake while filling the application form, as it cannot be corrected/edited by the office. In such cases, candidates will not have any authority to claim the refund of examination fees. It is a mandate to keep a photocopy of the printout of online application form for future communication.

Further counting the number of correct answers by the MCAER PG CET answer key, candidates can actually calculate their obtained score in the test.
The MCAER result 2020 has been announced in online mode on March 28. Candidates, who have appeared for the MCAER Exam 2020 can view and download their result in the form of merit list PDF from the official website.
How to verify the MCAER PG CET 2020 result?
Verification of marks obtained is permitted on applying for the same in writing within seven (7) days from the date of declaration of the result along with a demand draft for Rs.300/- drawn in the name of 'Controller, MAUEB, Pune, payable at Pune'.

The final selection will be based on the merit formulated by considering weightage of 70 percent of the MCAER PG CET 2020 score and 30 percent of the CGPA of candidates pertaining to their past academic result.
Other weightages, if any and the reservation policy will be followed as per guidelines of the State Government. The minimum MCAER cutoff 2020 will be of 55 percent (fifty-five) of total merit for post graduation admission.
