To get admission in Diploma in Computer science you don't need to have class 12th marksheet. To be eligible for this course you need only class 10th marksheet. The admission is merit based. There is no entrance examination for this course. You have to send the application to the college. Then the college announces the cut off. If you clear the cutoff then you can take admission in that college.

Yes, diploma holders are eligible to appear for JEE Main, even if you passed out in 2020—but with specific conditions:

  • A diploma of at least 3 years (approved by AICTE or state technical board) is considered equivalent to Class 12 for the purpose of appearing in JEE Main.

  • However, diploma holders are not eligible for admission to NITs, IIITs, or GFTIs through JEE Main rank.
