About TISSNET 2021
Tata Institute of Social Sciences conducts TISSNET (Tata Institute of Social Sciences – National Entrance Test) in the first week of January 2021 in online mode. The entrance examination of TISSNET is conducted for admissions to MA programmes offered by various campuses of TISS. The programmes are offered at five (6) of TISS centres which are – TISS Hyderabad, Mumbai, Chennai (Banyan), Guwahati, MGAHD Nagaland and Tuljapur. TISSNET 2021 will be conducted at 40 test centres across the country. The application form of TISSNET 2021 will be released in the third week of November tentatively. The last date to fill the TISSNET 2021 application form will be the third week of December. The admit card of TISSNET 2021 will be released in the third week of December. The result of TISSNET 2021 will be declared in the first week of February. Qualified candidates will be eligible to appear in the pre interview test and personal interview round. The final merit list of TISSNET 2021 will be released by TISS in the fourth week of April.
Tata Institute of Social Science conducts Tata Institute of Social Sciences National Entrance Test for admission to MA programmes offered at various TISS campuses. TISSNET is a computer based examination which is held for a duartion of 100 minutes. The question paper of TISSSNET is divided into three parts, General Awareness, English Proficiency and Mathematics and Logical Reasoning. The question paper consists of 100 questions and the medium of the examination is English. There will be no negative marking in TISSNET examination. To qualify the TISSNET exam, candidates must score at least the sectional cut off marks. The examination is held in around 40 exam centres around the country.

The eligibility criteria of TISSNET 2021 is the minimum academic qualification and other requirements needed for applying to admission in MA courses offered by various TISS campuses. Tata Institute of Social Sciences sets up the TISSNET 2021 eligibility criteria for the aspirants. It is essential for the candidates to know the eligibility criteria, before applying for TISSNET to avoid any rejection at later stages. The eligibility criteria for TISSNET 2021 is as follows:
- Candidates who are appearing for their final year examination can apply for TISSNET 2021 but they need to submit their final year examination result on the date prescribed by the exam conducting body. Until then the admission will be provisional and if a candidate fails to do so, the admission will be cancelled.
- Candidates with three years’ of undergraduate degree from a recognised university are eligible to apply

TISSNET application form 2021 will be available in the third week of November 2020. The application form of TISSNET 2021 will be available only in online mode. For people staying at remote areas where internet facility is not properly available, the TISSNET application form will be available in off;line mode. The last date of filling TISSNET application form will be in the second week of December 2020. Candidates must keep the following points in mind while filling the TISSNET 2021 application form: Candidates have to upload all the required documents and certificates while filling the application form of TISSNET 2021. They can apply for three programmes in any of the two campuses of TISS and can apply for all the three programmes in one application form and have to pay the application fee for all the three courses. They must not fill more than one form or else it might lead to cancellation of all the application form.

TISSNET 2021 Preparation Tips
All the interested candidates who want to qualify TISSNET 2021 must go through the exam pattern and prepare accordingly. Candidates must also solve previous years’ question papers and take mock tests for better results. TISSNET include questions from English, Logical Reasoning and General Awareness. Candidates are advised to read newspapers, stay updated about the latest events and practice class 10th, and 12th Maths. Students should keep the following preparation points in mind:

TISS Management Aptitude Test (TISS-MAT)
TISS conducts a test known as TISS Management Aptitutde Test for admission to MA (HRM & LR) and/or MA (ODCL) programmes. The TISSMAT 2021 examination will take place just after TISSNET 2021 exam. The score of TISS-MAT will be considered for shortlisting in the stage 2 along with the pre interview test and personal interview. TISS-MAT will be given the weightage of 30%. TISS will release the TISSNET 2021 admit card in the third week of December 2020. To download the admit card of TISSNET 2021, candidates can visit the official website of TISS and enter their login credentials on the admit card login window. Registered candidates have to download the TISSNET admit card 2021 before the examination. Candidates are not allowed to appear in the exam without their TISSNET 2021 admit card. They have to take one government photo identity card such as voter id, Aadhaar card, passport, PAN card to the exam centre on the day of examination. TISSNET 2021 result will be announced in the first week in online mode. The candidates who clear the qualifying marks will be eligible for admission to the further round of admission. To get admission into TISS, candidates have to qualify the first stage of the TISSNET 2020 selection process that is NET. They need to secure at least 45% (for others) and 35% (for SC/ST) in the TISSNET 2020 exam. All the qualifying candidates in TISSNET 2020 will be called for the next round, that is PI.
After the pre-interview test, candidates have to appear for a personal interview where they will be asked questions related to their course, academic details, work experience if any.
If shortlisted in TISSNET 2020, candidates have to undergo all the stages of the selection process and have to give their best for final selection.

Candidates should have done their Bachelor’s degree from a university that should be recognized by the University Grants Commission (UGC).
Those who are pursuing their final year of graduation are eligible to apply for TISSNET MBA 2021.
If a candidate is pursuing 3 years Bachelor’s program then it is necessary that they must have passed in all subjects till the 4th semester. Similarly, if candidates are pursuing 4 years program, then they must have cleared all subjects till the 6th semester.
Candidates who will get admission on a provisional basis, they have to submit the original degree by the last week of September 2021. In case, if a candidate fails to submit the documents, then the admission of the candidate will be canceled.
The admission status of the candidate will remain provisional until the original degree is not successfully submitted.
In case of any discrepancies found in the documents provided by the candidates, then in such a case, the candidature will be canceled.
If a candidate gets shortlisted then he/she is required to produce all the original documents at the time of Personal Interview (PI). Those who are in the final year of the qualifying examination will have to show the previous semester’s mark sheet.

According TISSNET guideline you are eligible for take admission but we will discusses briefly for better understanding .
If you willing's to to take TISSNET 2020 then you must have completed the graduation of minimum 3 years duration or its equivalent from a recognized university or final year candidates can also apply for the exam. However, they will be offered final admission only after they clear the final year examination also there is no upper age limit defined by TISS for appearing in the national level exam.

Minimum eligibility criteria
- You must have completed a bachelor’s degree programme of 3 or 4 years under the bridge course pattern of study where 15 years of formal education has been imparted.
- Candidates who are yet to be awarded a degree also satisfies the TISSNET eligibility criteria, however, the degree is to be produced until a specified date, before the same candidates will be provided with a provisional admission through TISSNET scores .
- Candidates who are appearing for the final examination of qualifying degree programme must not have any backlogs while applying for TISSNET 2021 .
