About VITMEE 2023
VITMEE 2023 - VIT University has closed the VITMEE 2023 admission process. The application form for VITMEE 2023 was available online mode from January 23 to April 096, 2023. VITMEE application form 2023 was available in online mode. Candidates completing the registration process were able to download the VITMEE admit card in online mode from April 13 to 23. The authority conducted the VITMEE exam was held on April 16 and April 23. Candidates were able to check the VITMEE result 2023 in online mode on May 12.
Students who qualify the VITMEE exam 2023 were able to participate in the counselling process. VITMEE counselling was held from May 12 to June 22. The counselling of VITMEE comprises choice filling, seat allotment, and payment of fees. VITMEE choice filling commenced on May 12 and over by May 14. The authority published the VITMEE seat allotment result on May 24. Finally, candidates had to report to the campus and make the payment.

VITMEE Eligibility Criteria 2023
Nationality
Candidates should be of Indian nationality and must have graduated from any Institutions in India. Or,
Foreign and PIO/ NRI candidates are also eligible to apply separately.
Eligibility Criteria
Candidates shall have obtained a minimum aggregate of 60% or first-grade in full-time graduation degree from any recognized Institute/ University.
Candidates have to make sure they graduated from a suitable degree programme for a particular M.Tech specialisation as prescribed.
Candidates in the final year of undergraduate degree are also eligible for admission, provided the final semester/ year would be completed before the commencement of counselling process.
All the candidates are required to submit the provisional certificate letter and mark sheet of their final year prior to the prescribed date specified by the authorities.

VITMEE Registration - Firstly, candidates have to complete the initial registration at vit.ac.in with basic details like name, date of birth, mobile number, gender, and email ID. VIT authorities have begin the VITMEE counselling process 2023 for all the registered candidates. Yes, you can get an automotive branch in VIT with this rank. Generally, the fees are more if you have a low rank.

Can i get into mtech directly if i have already pursued btech in vit chennai

No you cannot get seat in M.Tech directly. Candidates have to register and apply for the admission by filling the admission form. Shortlisted candidates have to appear for the VIT Masters Entrance Examination (VITMEE)/Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE). For the final admission candidates will have to appear in a counselling process. GATE qualified candidates will be given preference. You need to give one of the entrance exam to get seat in VIT for M.Tech. VIT University, Chennai was established in the year 1984. VIT University is also approved by the University Grants Commission (UGC).
My vitmee 2021 rank is 1662. Is it enough for civil engineering courses? if it is , then what category will it be and which campus has good chance (vellore/chennai)

As you have mentioned that you have got 1662 rank in vitmee 2021 and you are wanting to take up civil engineering courses so let me tell you that there is no official data available in the websites or in Google so one can't predict accurately what will you get at a particular rank.
But as per my knowledge you should be able to grab these courses and in category 2 may be. It can aslo in category 1 as I said it depends on certain conditions.
