You can give jee 2021 or jee for three consecutive years whether you get addmission in IIT or in any other engineering college it doesn't matter.
According to NTA, Everyone who gives jee mains examination is an aspirant and giving examination for getting addmission to prestigious technical institutes of India. It, doesn't matter you already admitted to one or not.
