Pure CSE and CSE with specialization cannot be compared like one is a better branch than other because what branch you take should be focused only on your personal interests. If you are not sure about pursuing a specific field in CSE then you should go for pure CSE that will give you opportunity to try different fields of CSE rather than specializing in a certain field like bioinformatics or AI.
CSE specialization with Artificial Intelligence or Data science has good scope for learning and job opportunities in future.
