i made a mistake in my registration number on neet pg form . but i have uploaded the correct permanent registration certificate with actual registration number . will my neet pg form be rejected?
Hello,
If you made a mistake in the registration number but uploaded the correct permanent registration certificate with the right number, usually your form won’t be rejected.
The certificate you uploaded is the key proof. However, to be safe, you should contact the NEET PG helpdesk or the exam authority and inform them about the mistake. They can guide you on what to do next.
Hope it helps !
I have tried to mail them several times they just reply that edit window is now closed . Seems like an automated reply
.
So can i tackle this issue during counselling??
HEY THERE!!
Here's what to do if you uploaded the correct permanent registration certificate with the correct registration number but entered the wrong registration number on the NEET PG application form:
- If the information on your application form does not match the information on your uploaded certificate or original documents, even small mistakes like using the incorrect registration number can cause problems during document verification.
- Candidates can correct specific information on their application form using the correction/edit window provided by the National Board of Examinations (NBE). But not all fields are editable during the correction window. Generally, you can upload the correct documents and change details like gender, date of birth, and category, but some fields (like name, email, and test city) are not editable.
- You should get in touch with the NBE helpdesk or support email right away and provide a detailed explanation of your situation if the registration number field is not editable in the correction window. Provide evidence (like your valid certificate) and ask for advice.
-
Although uploading the correct certificate is beneficial, your application may be rejected during verification if the details on the application form and the certificate do not match.
Now what are you supposed to do?
- In the current correction window, see if the registration number can be changed (log in at nbe.edu.in and try editing your form).
- If you are unable to edit it, get in touch with NBE support as soon as possible and let them know about the error, including the correct certificate and your application information.
- Save all of your correspondence as evidence that you reported the error before the exam process.
But their response is unsatisfactory and still the registration number is incorrect .
Can i tackle it during counseling ?
Thanks
Dear Candidate,
Your NEET PG form is unlikely to be rejected if the correct registration certificate is uploaded . However since you cannot edit the registration number now , it is best to contact NBEMS immediately for clarification. Be prepared to submit any required documents to support your case .
hello Eisa khan,
Even if you give the wrong number during NEET PG registration, as long as the certificates are correct, everything will be OK. Official correction time is given by the exam authorities, when you should fix your answer sheet. Should the time window not give you an option to fix the registration number, quickly email the helpdesk and include your application ID, the correct number and a picture of your registration certificate. Do not wait until the last moment to do this. If you’re fast, you can avoid problems during the admission or verification process.
