If a student gives jee advance exam and doesn't qualify it then his admission to nit or govt.Colleges will be done on the basis of his rank in jee main or jee advance???

If you did not qualify in the JEE advance then you are eligible for all the colleges except IITs .The admission to NITs is done on your JEE main rank or percentile. The higher your rank the higher the chances of getting into a good NIT college.
