Sir, while filling my ssc cpo form by mistake my dob was entered in place of 01/05/2003 it was placed 05/01/2003. I have cleared all the stage of exam now my document verification is going to be held on 19 September. I have prepared an affidavit by sdm of my district. Will this work?
Hi dear candidate,
Since you have made an entry mistake where you have swapped your day and month of the DOB. While the SSC allows the correction at the time of verification, you should also carry at least two of your official documents with your DOB such as class X marksheet and Adhaar card for extra assurance. It also depends on verification officer. But most probably, they will allow the correction.
ALL THE BEST
You entered your date of birth wrong in the SSC CPO form, but the affidavit made by the SDM can fix this. Take the affidavit, your SSC certificate, and other ID cards that show your correct date of birth.
When you go for document check, give the affidavit and explain the mistake. Officers usually accept it if the proof is clear and the mistake is genuine.
