Hi ,
There are different ways to get an admission into IISER Institutions.
1) KVPY
2) IISER Aptitude test
3) JEE Advanced
50% of the seats is reserved for candidates admitted through IISER entrance and the remaining 50% is reserved for those admitted through JEE Advanced and KVPY. Candidates belonging to ST category need to obtain minimum 65% in their 12th boards.
Candidates in the ST category must secure a rank within 10000 in the JEE Advanced in the category while general category candidates must get a rank within 10000 in the Common Rank List of JEE Advanced. This is the eligibility criteria.
There are 260 seats in IISER Bhopal , which is the highest in among all IISER Institutions.
The cutoffs to IISER Bhopal during the previous years are :
2016 - Rank 6500
2017- Rank 5800
2018 - Rank 4500
2019 - Rank 4000 ( this can vary ).
A rank of below 10000 is just the eligibility to get into an IISER Institute . It doesn't mean you will get admission if you get just within that limit .
