For any square planar complex of type MABCD,there are no optical isomers but only geometrical isomers.There will be a total of 3 isomers.The three isomers place A trans to C,A trans to B,and A trans to D.There won't be any chiral isomer because there is always a plane of symmetry present in the square planar complex.Hence,a total of 3 isomers.
