Established under the Pradhan Mantri Swasthya Suraksha Yojna (PMSSY) of the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, Government of India, All India Institute of Medical Sciences Rajkot is an ‘Institute of National Importance’. The AIIMS Rajkot Gujarat provides only one UG course which is Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS). AIIMS Rajkot Hospital serves as a teaching hospital for students of AIIMS Rajkot College.

Admission to AIIMS Rajkot for MBBS is granted on the scores obtained by the student in the NEET UG entrance examination. AIIMS Rajkot Location

The college is located at Khanderi, Para Pipaliya, Rajkot, Gujarat. The Rajkot Airport is at a distance of 15 kilometres from the campus. The AIIMS Rajkot campus is 14 kilometres away from the Rajkot Junction Railway Station. The Rajkot Bus port is 15 kilometres away from the college. Students can reach the AIIMS Rajkot campus by taxi or cab.
